Dub Covering Plotholes

Have you guys ever noticed while it's usually the other way around, that sometimes the dub doesn't make the plotholes that the original Japanese did? For example, you know when Trunks shows up, Vegeta says he can't be a Saiyan because all Saiyans have black hair? That may be true for the manga, but in the anime flashbacks and the Bardock special, we saw otherwise. The dub didn't mention this. Something like this also happens in the flashback in movie #6. In both the dub and original versions of movie #5 when Goku pushes back Cooler's death ball, he grunts a few times, kiais, then blasts it back at him. In the dub of #6 this same thing happens, but in the Japanese version, he says, Kamehameha" before blasting it back at him. Any thoughts?

Well, for the "black hair thing" they were just following the manga and didn't really think about the Bardock Special I guess.

King Vegeta also had brown hair. So like I said, that line was true for the manga, but not the anime.

King Vegeta had brown hair because TOEI simply picked brown when drawing him and never changed it to the correct black. Heck, even Vegeta had brown hair the first time we see him in the Anime.

Actually Toei did correct their mistake with changing all the Saiyans hair back to black after Vegeta made that remark. In movie 8 King Vegeta's hair is black, and again in GT.

Vegeta's hair looks brown to me in GT but it depends on the lighting. If it says in the original manga all true saiyans have black hair why then already come out with radditz who his hair brown (or maybe that was another Toei mistake)?

Hmm, haven't seen Movie 8 yet. *Shrugs* Though I know a female Saiya-jin in the Bardock Special had blue hair... I guess TOEI never got the memo on Full Blooded Saiya-jins.

We may be forgetting that not all saiyans inhabit planet Vegeta. Or what I'm trying to say is it may not be all that exclusive to just full blooded saiyans.

The Bardock special aired during the Freeza arc, when everybody was on Namek.

Vegeta mentioned the "black hair" rule for the first time after Trunks first appeared.
