No, those really are the "facts of life" though and it's pretty much the same every where you go these days.

I've told this story a few times in chat but I'll tell it here since it's relavent. My parents have told me about this a few times. We were at the mall one day when I was, at most, 3 years old. And, for whatever reason, I left my parents, ran across the hall, and kissed some random girl I'd never met.

I vaguely remember my first crush was when I was in pre-school. I was 3 then, too. I also remember liking two or three girls in 1st through 3rd grades, and then another girl in 4th, and 2 or 3 others from 5th until 7th.

Heh. My elementry school wasn't too bad. We did have one girl who started sleeping around in 5th grade, though. But in junior high more than one 'sex tape' made the rounds. And in higschool there were instances of sex in the bathrooms. And when I was in 12th grade 6 kids got in trouble for an orgy behind some bushes out by the football field (which was quite entertaining when they got caught, since it was during my gym class which just happened to be occuring on the football field XD).

Well, Marron may have inherited her mom's features, but it looks like the poor girl takes after her dad in terms of height (or lack thereof). So I guess Marron's not a good choice to compare others to.

I think one of the side effects of the Old Kai power unlocking of Gohan is the stunted growth of his offspring. Gohan should have read the fine print.

That's just the old Son family genes working there. Like Goku and Gohan, Pan probably won't get a growth spurt until she hits 16 or 17. XD

I actually don't recall FUNimation claiming that GT was 10 years after Z. I mean it's just something that all fans like...assumed. I thought that they mentioned it in GT like in the first episode (not the one they made themselves, I'm talking about the real 'Lost Episode'), but nope. And if it happens to be on their website somewhere, then screw that. What really ticks me off about FUNimation is that they are not consistent with some characters' names and certain information. Like Chi-Chi can be seen as ChiChi, Chi-Chi, or Chi Chi on subtitles in different DVDs. And Marron or Maron is always mixed up. So their website is not even trustworthy. Especially since they once spelled Vegeta's name as "Vejita"...even though that's not how they ever spelled it before. It's like they completely don't care what goes on in their websites.

Those heights don't look right... Majin Buu is actually quite huge... but if you look at him there he'd be about as tall as Gohan. Piccolo looks pretty short too.

Uub's also shorter than he should be, it looks, and Vegeta and Videl are taller.

It's a cute, more cartoony little animation sequence for a lighthearted ending to a goofy, nonsensical anime, guys. I don't think it should really count that much towards any serious hypothesis-forming.

But I'm still shocked that a supposed 9 year old is almost as tall as her parents, especially in DB(where the characters tend to look much younger size-wise)

I can understand why she'd be tall compared to Marron, but why is Bra almost as tall as her parents and the other mothers?

It's not just that little sequence either.

Ah well, I guess if the guide books officially claim she's 9, than she's canon-ly 9 and Pan is 10. o_o

I don't think the animators were paying attention.

Well when Gohan was 11, he wasn't exactly teeny weeny. God... He was 11 during the Cell Games... Compared to Goku at...even 16, he was like a giant. So it's possible. Just...still something out of whack. It's like they intended for Pan, Bulla (yeah, yeah, I know, dubby thing), and Marron to be teenagers who date and shop and all that stuff... And then took a look at the ages that the characters would be and decided to cut that by 5 years while leaving the character models and traits of the new characters. Last I knew, Akira Toriyama did the initial character design right? So that means he's the one that designed them because they were in the series straight from the beginning. Ah hell, Bulla and Marron were not exactly tiny tikes at the end of Z.
