English Voice cast
I don't know if anyone has already posted a similar topic, but I was curious if others have meet any of the English voice cast? I've met a lot of them so far, but I still would like to meet Chuck, who is the voice of Android 17.
Out of all the voice actors I have meet, I would have to say Sean Schemmel is one of the coolest, which is funny because I didn't use to like Goku as a character. But after meeting Sean, the character of Goku became more appealing to me. Sonny Strait was a lot of fun as well; I even got to interview him and put it on YouTube! I really wish I had gotten a chance to talk to Chris, but everyone says he is cool, so I'll take their word for it. =D
So my question would be, out of all the voice actors which you have meet, who did you like the best?

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Briefly met Kyle Hebert when he agreed to pose with my Goku plushie for a photo. Very nice guy, easily approachable and was always around and about the con floor when he wasn't hosting panels or participating in events. He even agreed to attend an info panel my group was hosting about our upcoming Bleach LARP since he voices Aizen, when my friend asked him. As much as I'm not a fan of the dub, I find the majority of the actors from it themselves are really nice guys and really appreciate the fans and have a genuine love for the work they did for DBZ.

Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

I'm not really that familiar with the names and personalities of the English voice cast, but I guess I'd have to say Brian Drummond since he seems so fun and willing to do random stuff (like all of the times he has said "Over 9,000!!!" and "You'll never escape MY WRATH!!!" for fans). The only other English voice actor I would like to meat would be Chris Sabat, just because I think that he overall did the best Vegeta voice ever and Vegeta's my favorite character...that's about the only reason.
The voice actor I would most like to meet ever, in the world would definitely have to be Ryūsei Nakao, the sinister voice of Freeza in the original Japanese dialogue. First off I would just thank him for how much he contributed to the show and then I would just talk to him and see how cool of a guy he is in person. Like Brian Drummond, Nakao also seems very willing to say thing s to please his fans, such as the famous time at one of the anime conventions when he said kamehameha in Freeza's voice!

I've always wanted to go to a con to meet the VAs but that probably won't happen. I do listen to Kyle Hebert's podcast, though. I think from all the con footage I've seen they're all really nice people and it's nice both voice casts are friendly with one another.
I know Sabat has good things to say of McNeil but has never yet met Drummond.

I've been dying to meet all of the DBZ VAs. I'm gonna try to go to a con soon... but anyway, I'd LOVE to meet Sean Schemmel, Chris Sabat, Brian Drummond and Peter Kelamis (prolly not gonna happen =/), Kyle Hebert, Eric Vale, Sonny Strait, Justin Cook, Tiffany Volmer and Stephanie Nadolny. They seem like they're really cool people to talk to... and of course, they all have amazing talent.

I've met Scott McNeil (season 1 and 2 Piccolo), Michael Dobson (Season 2 Nail and misc), Vic Mignogna (Broly), Colleen Clinkenbeard (Zangya), Saffron Henderson (Season 1 and 2 Gohan/Ocean Goku), Lisa Ann Beley (Season 1 and 2 Chi Chi), Brina Palencia (Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Arale), Dameon Clarke (Cell) and Eric Vale (Future Trunks). Have taken pics of/with all the above except Mr. Clarke and Mr. Vale. Will get to meet Chuck Huber at con in a few months. Would love to meet Sean Schemmel, Chris Sabat, Laura Bailey, Mike McFarland, Justin Cook, Kyle Hebert and Sonny Strait. With Ms. Beley I had her sign my copy of Endless Waltz and told her I loved her as Teela on the new He-Man and she said she liked doing that show.

Wow talk about the rookie treatment, it seems like all the noobs go through a period where there posts have a lot of red in them, it's like EX's version of hazingTrixen wrote:I don't know if anyone has already posted a similar topic, but I was curious if others have meet any of the English voice cast? Anyways back on topic, I met Schemmel at a con once and he was a really cool guy. He didn't have a problem saying quotes or anything like that, unlike Sabat who rarely if ever says the 9000 line and when he does it's half-heartedly.

I met Scott McNeil back in 02 at my first con (Go AnimeUSA!), and even now thinking about it, it was unbelievably cool. Not only for Pic but for a fellow named Dinobot who all of you should know because he's one of the coolest characters ever.
Scott was honest-to-god happy to be there, talk to fans for as long as they wanted and toss out voices for fun. He'd wander around on his own for the hell of it. I got him to sign my daizenshuu2, on the Pic bio ^__^
I'd love to see him again, as soon as possible. I would also like to meet Brian, Ian and Peter. And whomever played Megatron because he's too much win to be described.

Are you sure it's not because he's not tired of saying it or just tired at the moment?SSJ2bardock wrote:
