Bulma Likes Goku?

I was watching DBZ episode 71 in Japanese subbed in spanish and I also watch the Mexican version. Bulma says right after she gave Kuririn and Gohan the dragon radar and told her that Goku was on the planet, she said that she wonders if Goku is getting cutier, handsome or any of the lines of those your attractive guy. Then she is looking at the clouds and sees Goku. She finally says she lost her opportunity, meaning to date him.

Now I know the Mexican version is a good dub, but very rare they change some scenes for fun. I have seen it in Japanese with subtitles in spanish from spain. Now is that what Bulma says in the Steve Simmons subs from FUNimation? or if anyone knows Japanese is that what she really says in that episode?

She says that in the Funimation dub too, not sure about in Japanese.

I think it's less "Bulma likes Goku" and more "Bulma hits on anything with a dick". She was flirting with Vegeta a little over a month after the battle on Earth.

Even worse off she hit on General Blue right before he was about to slaughter her and Kurririn and flirted with Zarbon who was obviously one pissed off pretty boy. In lack of better terms she seems like a slut who is just in it for sex and action despite her better judgment.

I never took it as her being trampy or anything, just that looking back on things, she realized that perhaps instead of disregarding Goku as merely a dumb and weird hick, he turned out to be a more admirable and better catch than Yamucha. Basically it's her realizing that once again her shallow thinking skewed her perspective once again.

By the way, I firmly believe that Buruma wasn't a girl that actually slept around, despite her actions of often being flirty and whatnot. Other than Vegeta, maybe only Yamucha she slept with, even then I'm not so sure their relationship ever went that far.

There were some times when I thought Bulma was a little too 'over motherly' with her son from the future.

I wouldn't call flirting "Over Motherly" that's a terrible thing to do to a kid you barely know and is actually your son from the future and he knows it but he can't tell you!*breeeath*

Trunks: Wait a second... events in this timeline won't change my own history...she's not really my mother if she never sleeps with my dad....

That's exactly how I've always looked at that remark. She never really looked at Goku in that way and now that she sees how he turned, out she's just wondering if she let something good pass her by. Also, I agree on the subject of Bulma and her "flirty" behavior.

That Bulma and Goku is 4 years younger than her. Also is Vegeta older than Bulma or the same age as her? I know Tenshinan and Yamcha are, but not sure on Vegeta.

Hey that's the Japanese sub in spanish where I watched the episode 71 Bulma likes Goku scene. Anyway that's probably Bulma being like that since Trunks never saw her this young because he was a baby.
