Not to worry; I never intended to link that persons page to the forum at all, and it's already been settled over PM about a week ago. 8)

I can't wait to read more of your doujinshii, Detective X! It seems quite interesting...

You're good, Hitch.

Notice I haven't posted any of my own yet... That's because I suck. But if you really want to see mine, I will post.

I remember this one fanart, but it wasn't really art. It was a bunch of dashes and lines and numbers that made out a picture of Son Goku as a kid. I forgot what those kinda pics are called. Anywho...it was really good.

Those are called ASCII art, if I recall correctly. I haven't seen any Dragon Ball art of that type, at least not any worth noting.

I'd like to post my fave fanart, but the majority of them are from Japanese artists and most of them don't like it when people show off their work in other websites. I could show some and then remove them in a short while later, though. What do you guys think?

Oh, I forgot to mention that there is this Japanese artist who made a very good animated GIF of kid Goku that's around 500KB. I'd love to show it but Picturetrails doesn't support animated GIFs. Would some nice person let me upload it to his/her servers?

Max: "Ah, he was reading from our contract."

Well, I've completed yet another Dragonball-related fanart: "Unseen Buus!"

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/9726939/

Here, I took the human males from the series (Ten, Satan, Krillin, and Yamcha) and drew what I thought it would have looked like if Super Buu had absorbed them all seperately.

By the way, Dragonball Omega is put back on hiatus due to school. I'm gonna try to keep doing my regular fanart on a somewhat regular basis, though.

EDIT: Awesome stuff, SSJHitch, but isn't that supposed to be the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai?

Damn, that kind of sucks. I was looking forward to reading more soon.

Anyway, I really love your "Unseen Buus".

Shadowolf wrote:Well anywho since I'm getting some decent feedback here, this is another character design for my cartoon that I was messing with. Its a portara fusion between Freeza and Cell. The Xs indicate areas that are going to be completely black. Please, ridicule him all you can! :P
And ridicule him I shall! But only at the concept. The artwork's pretty good, but think: Why would Cell ever accept to fuse w/anybody, and why would Freeza? Especially Cell though! He'd just absorb the other guy's strength! That way he's still himself and as powerful as the fusion.
Sorry I'm slow to respond, but I lost my internet for a week. Anyway the reason why Freeza and Cell would fuse is simple... they have been in hell for over a thousand years and it pretty much sucks. And as for Cell just absorbing Freeza I don't think he can. I mean his tail is a bit short in perfect form. What's he going to do? Sit on Freeza's lap and lean back?
On another note, since my other pics didn't fair so well, here is a pic of Goku done in Manga ink (indian ink). I'm still getting used to using the stuff, but this is by far my best work to date. Enjoy!

Despite the fact it's basically just a copy of a famous Goku picture, I'd have to say that's one kick ass picture. The shading and detail is just plain oober-freaking-cool. The proportions are a bit off at a point or two, but the awesome way it's drawn easily overshadows that. Really nice!
