Bulma also says in Vol.16 something like...Oh maybe I should have been with Goku.

It feels wrong to think that maybe Toriyama could have had little Goku marry Bulma. But in another way, Bulma is the first friend besides Grandpa Gohan Goku had. She got him out of the woods and as a result Goku is the most powerful fighter in the Universe! Maybe Toriyama could have gonna Bulma-Goku? It would make sense. But as I know the series, this reality, it doesn't work.

I read online somewhere on the DBZ Timeline of DOOOM~! that Vegeta was born a year before Bulma, Yamcha, and Tenshinhan. Does it have any sort of canonical value? No idea, but if Vegeta's not a year older than Bulma, he's probably around the same age. During the Bardock special, Vegeta was about Gohan's size at the beginning of DBZ, and Goku was just born, so it's around there. ^^;

You should probably check a Daizenshuu.

About the time line, I use to get these Ani-Manga books. Yes I know: redundantly redundant. But they help me practice my Danish. But one of the books had a time line not with ages. I'll try scanning it. It might be a reprint of a daizenshuu page.

Eh, I don't think they're that frequent. I've watched both the first sage and 21st Budokai recently, and she hasn't made any comments on Goku being hot or sexy.

Actually they weren't together the entire time up until then. The longest they dated seems to have been that first year after they met. After that he seemed to be wrapped up in training or following in Goku's foot steps. Or having a job. Basically, he'd train, come back, they'd start up again, probably break it off and/or he'd leave to train again.

But in that first year, maybe.

I always found it odd when everyone shows up for the 23rd Budokai, nobody even mentions Yamcha's scarred face. I know Goku's drastic change in appearance was a shock, but even Bulma was too busy thinking Goku was cute to ask her on again-off again romance what happened to his face.

Well that's only the beginning of the show. I think she starts to say how good looking he's become around the beginning of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai until kind of the end of Freeza saga.

Having a job doesn't prevent Yamcha from living with Bulma. And they had plenty of time to do something during the moments - sometimes months - when they were together.

Another incident of the "... wait, there are other characters in this show?" style of moment. It always annoyed the hell out of me that his whole face is ripped up and noone notices.
