Anybody remember this picture?

Compare the armor from the revealed pics and this old one, it's exactly the same. So if there was any hope left in your mind that those pics weren't really Piccolo I just quashed it.

I have stepped in to take their place, I think he looks fine, he is a bit too yellow green (possibly some kind of pale flesh tone maybe?), but it could just be lighting. This is pretty much what I expected. I really don't get why you guys are so pissed. I mean piccolo is basically a green nosferatu with antenna anyway.

I don't think I have ever heard anyone compare Piccolo to a vampire...

Piccolo is not a vampire.

Namekians =/ vampires.
He does not feed off of the blood of living beings to survive, nor is he "immortal/undead".

Show me a vampire who can grow to x-times his own size, extend his arms to obscene lengths, and regrow his limbs.

Yeah I guess. The majority of the people here thought this movie was going to suck anyways. I don't get why THEY are so surprised. Guess that's what PESSIMISM does for you. I was being optimistic and I got kicked in the balls. Still I'm surprised the "Happy Police" aren't here smacking MoFo's around. I know VegetaDTX will be here soon though.

Honestly, there are many comparisons in appearance between Piccolo and a Nosferatu style vampire.

Bald, Check
Fangs, Check
Discolored Skin (IE not normal), Check
Protruding Skeletal Structure in the face, check
Claw Like hands, Check.

Honestly, go look up Nosferatu. Piccolo in the manga and anime has many features found in a nosferatu style vampire.

How can anyone honestly sit here and say "Well he kinda looks like Piccolo." I'm looking at my manga right now and uh I don't see any kind of resemblance. It's a fucking disgrace.

I think he just meant the way Piccolo LOOKS is comparable to the vampire (Count Orlok) in the classic silent Nosferatu movie. Not that Namekians were LIKE vampires in general. And I would agree; make Orlok green and give him the antenna, and you’re fairly close to the general physical appearance of a Namekian.

And that’s pretty much the real main problem with Piccolo’s makeup job; no green and no antenna. If it weren’t missing those, it would look far more appropriate.

Is it weird that image-wise, the things I'm liking most so far about this movie are stuff not from the series? Like I think what they've got for Piccolo looks rather...bleh, but I think that shot of the monks sitting around a table looks really cool.

I'm pretty sure Dracula is shown doing all of those things at some point during the Castlevania series.

Wow, lack of star on DragonBall is lacking. Kind of destroys a lot of Goku's feelings towards Grandpa Gohan if all the DragonBalls look exactly the same.

And Piccolo, I wouldn't complain if he was a darker green, and had an anntenna. Atleast him being green...

I'm still disappointed with the severe lack of green though.

I mean, I'd be way more forgiving if he was at least green.

All this Piccolo talk makes me wonder what Velasa will think of this version of him.

The Dragon Balls will have stars on them. The only reason they can't be seen is because they are glowing.

They didn't take a single element of the original character design, instead they chose to just put Spike in a Dragonball film.

Whoever points to the original gets a cookie.

I've never seen Buffy (well, clips, not a whole episode) or Angel, but wow does that...that makes me sad.
