Well people, I spoke to VegettoEX and I'll be e-mailing him the pics that I have of the characters for the upcoming DB Jump Tour project soon. Maybe this Friday...I tried today, but doing it from my dial-up home connection was taking too long, even after I zipped all the pics together. I also sent copies of the new characters to VegettoEX and backthen...but just the new guys. I figured I could at least do that much.

But just in case you can't wait, I'll also be posting the pics for the new characters (and just the new guys) over at 4chan's anime board. Unless someone deletes my post (which I hope they don't) the pics shoud be there from 6 to 12 hours after I post this message (it is almost 9 PM in my timezone as of this post). Oh, I also completely forgot to mention that Piccolo, Kuririn, 18, Marron, and Kibitoshin are also in the special.

They all look like Pokemon sporting Saiyan armor. I wish Toriyama would have created enemies that looked a bit scarier. Like Janemba or something.

I dunno, I find the purple guy to be pretty scary.

I wish he'd come up with enemies that looked more fun and/or original. Like Fat Buu, Imperfect form Cell, First Form Janemba, Boss Rabbit, or Appule. But I'll live.

Yeah that's what I meant. These guys don't look all that tough or evil. I was hoping for a serious special like movies 1-13 but this looks like it's gonna be one of those cutesy/goofy/feel good type deals. Whatever. I'll still watch it.

I dunno, tough and evil doesn't always mean thin and muscular. That purple guy looks pretty darn intimidating, especially his face in the bottom-left corner. While I have no doubt that this special will be funny, we'll probably get a good amount of action and drama. If it's centered around Vegeta (oy, of all characters) as much as we suspect, we'll most likely get a serious tone.

Anyway, this is great. The more new characters are revealed, the longer the running time of this special gets. All of this couldn't possibly be explained in a 5-10 minute short.

These look like the instructions that used to be given to the companies that produced the cels for the anime. But these days cels are almost non-existent; so if Toei has decided to keep the classic look and pay a little extra money to have this special animated in the classic Dragonball cel fashion I would be very impressed.

The fact that this is made to celebrate the past 40 years of Jump (most of which was ruled by cel animated anime) also makes me think that they might be putting in the extra effort to get this animated like the rest of the series was.

This makes me rethink that Abo and Kado are cloners. Aka (wacky fusion of Abo + Kado?) looks like he's the love-child of Abo and Dodoria. Maybe they combine the DNA strands of Freeza's top warriors to make super-warriors?

Since we most likely won't get a Daizenshuu quality information guide for this movie, I hope they keep the tradition of handing out movie programs for these films and Julian will be able to get one and scan some stuff for us. The programs usually provide some in depth character information and I would really like to read it if it pertains to these 4 characters (and the Yardration type guy).
