Gohan and his differences in other timelines

In the main timeline, yes. Not necessarily in the Future timeline.

And, to go out-of-universe for a sec, that wasn't mentioned/thought of until the fight versus Kid Buu. I question its reference in an earlier/later/youknowwhatImean thing.

Another problem I just remembered: Vegeta doesn't exist anymore. He was sent to hell, his soul was cleansed and got reincarnated.

He will. In between Goku begging him and Piccolo bending his fingers, he'll have no choice.

Also, if only one person can be revived by Porunga, then wish back Piccolo(Which as a result, brings back Kami). After that, they can put Piccolo into the Room of Spirit and Time with Gohan for a day* or two. As Piccolo helps Gohan get stronger, Kami can ask Bulma and the others to gather the Dragonballs as he tries to keep a look-out for the Androids to make sure the group is safe as they hurry to gather the balls.

Once they successfully gather the balls and bring them back to the Lookout, Piccolo and Gohan will have been done training, Piccolo will have screamed at Kami enough to convince him to merge with him, and they can wish back everyone killed by the Androids. Piccolo should then be able to contact the revived Z fighters and have them come to the Lookout.

After that, they can throw poor Gohan into the room with Vegeta and have them train as the others wait on the Lookout, keeping their eyes peeled on the Androids.

* Year, technically.

If that's the case, then Gohan has to go right back into the room with somebody else. The newly strengthened Piccolo would have to sit out that one because he would be the only one able to keep his eye the Androids from the Lookout. Not only that, he would be the only real line of defense in the event that the Androids followed the Z fighters to the Lookout before Gohan could finish his final turn in the Chamber**.

3. Piccolo merging with Kami will destroy Earth's Dragonballs.
4. Krillin and Chiaotzu can't come back, and Tien won't come back without Chiaotzu. If Shenron's being picky, Yamcha can't come back either, as he's died before and been revived (has Shenron ever revived anyone the Porunga had revived before?).

Doubts
---
1. Could Gohan get strong enough? He was weaker than Goku was on Namek when he died, and he'd only be weaker the farther before that you throw this plan into motion.

First, the facts...

1. I already laid out my plan on the "Vegeta clause."

2. Well, we're not taking into account the three years between Frieza and the Androids. While the fighters were not alerted to their arrival, remember that Piccolo is ALWAYS training. He may have gotten at least one year's worth of the training he has in the Present timeline. With the two Spirit/Time days of intense training with Gohan, he could end up with just about the same power as he had with three-year training in present time.

3. Okay, wish back everyone killed by the Androids who can be wished before he convinces Kami to merge. Once they merge, Piccolo should be as strong as he is when he fights #17 in present time. The present time androids are stronger than the future time androids, so Piccolo should then be plently strong enough to take out one of them and hold out against both in the event that he HAS to defend the Lookout against them.

4. Well, there's nothing that can be done about them then.

The doubts...

1. Well, let's assume he didn't get any stronger in the three years between Frieza and the Androids. He's gets his three years of training in the Room of Spirit and Time. So, then, he's as strong as he was during the arrival of #19 and #20 in Present time. Not strong enough to take on the Androids of the future, but just strong enough help Piccolo in finally finding the Androids and taking them on. I think they would win this fight.

But, in the event that Piccolo dies in the battle, this would likely trigger Gohan to turn SSJ. By this time, one or both of the Androids should have already been permanently damaged by Piccolo and Gohan. Piccolo should have been smart enough to realize that the Androids don't run out of energy and that he had to somehow focus on destroying a limb or two of theirs in order to truly weaken them. SSJ Gohan could probably take care of the rest.

2. How the hell would he get Piccolo off of him?

EDIT: UH-OH!

I just found out that someone is allowed only two days in the Room. So, scrap Gohan's extra day! But, guess what? One would only need x1.5 the amount of results of one year's worth of the present time's 3-year preparation for the androids. The three years they spent in present time was not in the room, so it was with normal gravity!

If I'm not mistaken, the gravity in the Room is higher than normal. That should be able to squeeze out that extra 6 months worth of normal training if Gohan and Piccolo worked their fucking asses off. They would considering how dire the situation is.

They wouldn't need to resurrect anyone. Have you all forgotten about the one day on Earth gift from Baba?

That's the biggest plothole of the Android Saga. At some point, Goku would just go back to Earth and finish them off before they killed more people.

Seems pretty solid to me. Yet, still as risky as a game plan in DBZ is.

They can all sense the death on that island. Even though they can't detect 17 and 18. They can still feel all the energy that randomly disappeared.

In the case that King Kai DOESN'T cooperate and denies the Z fighters a way of communication, he will have to live with being a heartless asshole.

I don't know if this was brought up before, but couldn't Goku just use instant transmission to come back to Earth for a while? If he could teleport from Earth and sense King Kai's energy, surely he could sense Gohan or somebody else's?

He's dead, he can't go back to the living worlds.

Assuming that I wasn't just kidding and actually thought he would have a problem after already letting civilizations get destroyed over the ages...

Anyhow, I think King Kai would let them make their contacts and leave them to fend for themselves after that.
