Dragon Ball Online is coming to Europe!!!!

Post by backthen » Fri Sep 19, 2008 9:08 am

There Official Domains have been bought and it 100% confirms the game will be released in Europe! The domains they now own include:

www.dragonballonline.eu

Hopefully this means the USA will get a piece as well.

Not that I've ever been to Europe or am there now, but still good to know.

I'm just waiting to find out when it's coming to the US, exactly what customization there is for Nameccians and how much it's gonna cost...

This sounds cool. Maybe when it pops up finally some of our European members can get us better screens and quick reviews of the game.

I'm a little skeptical. Couldn't anyone have registered these domains? It might just be someone trying to force the company to buy the domains from them in the future, which probably wouldn't work since there are laws in place to stop people doing that.

Edit: It does say NTL is the register, but I'm not 100% yet.

Could someone have just put that down as the name though? I don't know to be honest. It sounds promising though.

I don't see anything other than similarly (but not identically) named nameservers and a reference to Korea to suggest that the .eu domain was registered by the same people that registered .net.

For the record, I emailed them when you made that post, waiting on a reply now. There's no guarantee we'll get one though.

Anyway, I'm not saying you're wrong. In fact, I hope you're right. I'm just not getting my hopes up either way yet.
