Yes he is a little brother of Vegeta. He was sent to a marginal planet because of his lack of the sense of fight.

Tarble is Vegeta's younger brother, yeah. Couldn't be younger than Gokû, logically, but hey, whatever.
And the third alien is actually his wife, Gure (from "grape"? "little grey"?).

Has/is anyone going to sub the special?

And have funimation expressed any knowledge of the special because I think they might put it on their double features if they were going to get it.

Well as far as we know, no one has even "bootlegged" the special yet, so no word of any subbing.

I thought I remembered someone in this thread saying something about funimation taking interest in it...but I can't remember, maybe I am thinking of something else.

Let me guess...RPG type game eh? Not an actual fighting game like Street Fighter.

I am just glad it has fighting. By the looks of the descriptions the special didn't have any.

It's a shame the bad guys aren't really threats.

What I meant by that is that Gokû doesn't take the bad guys seriously at all (they're only supposed to be as powerful as Freeza, after all). So they draw straws (well... radishes, actually) to decide who's going to fight them: Goten or Trunks. Trunks wins (Vegeta = happy), but Gokû lets Goten go at them as well anyway (Vegeta = angry).
Of course, the fight does escalate a tiny bit, and Gokû gets to do something in the end, but... well, you get the general idea.
