I don't think people won't listen to you because you're new, I think they won't listen because Dragonball should never be continued.

Hell, I love drawing Dragonball stuff and rock at it if I do say so myself (and I do), but doing fan-manga sounds like a real pain in the ass. If you're in high school, you may have the free time to play around with. However, those of us working 40-60 hours a week and/or are on our way to college (and actually trying, heaven forbid) might have more important things to do, and it would likely eventually die anyway, as these things do when one person simply drops off the net for personal reasons (drugs, sex, school, incarcerated, etc), as persons tend to do, personally.
