No it doesn't. The original white printing of the first 3 DB graphic novels are editted. Then they did some that weren't editted. And then they did the red ones.
The only way you can tell if you've got an editted or uneditted novel is if it has "13+" on the cover, but that won't help you if you are ordering online.
And buying something just because it is "out of print" is a fairly retarded thing to do, especially when the exact same product is available in slightly different colours.
God, I hate Star Wars toy collectors.

I am a bitter giant man.
But I'm not actually bitter about this. More I just find it incredibly stupid. I remember when the original Beast Wars Cheetor toy came out, and people found out that there were three versions with different eye colours, and they went ballistic trying to get them.
Idiots.

That's up there with the Bobba Fett mistake (one had stripes on his hands instead of dots. Or vice versa). On second thought I can kind of understand Bobba Fett. He's the shit.PsyLiam wrote:I am a bitter giant man.

Actually, there's three editions already out in English by Viz.
First, there's the white covered one that costs $15, has the "The hit story behind Dragon Ball Z" thing, and is pretty much censored. Then there's the other white one, that says "13 and up," and is uncensored. And then finally there is the SJ version, which is smaller in size and uncensored.

Woopsy! I mean, uh, "Bobba" was a variant too! Yeah...that's it. He was the hillbilly Fett from Dantooeen! /me pretends he doesn't have a collection of Star Wars figures hanging on his wall

They edit his lips? Really? I mean, I can understand why they would, but since his lips are there in all their racist glory in the cartoon, I wonder why they bother editing them.
(t's weird actually. When I look at Adjutent-or-whatever Black, I keep thinking that his design looks a bit racist. But Green Lantern on Justice League has similar "big lips" that the white characters don't, and it doesn't look racist there. So I dunno. Perhaps it is just us.

Nahhh.

If only someone had mentioned this before in this thread.*PINHEAD* wrote:Actually, there's three editions already out in English by Viz.

Or indeed:SaiyaJedi wrote:Err... actually, the smaller ones are better.spikemcruffy wrote:People shold be trying to get the white version as soon as they can!
Its rare and harder to get!
I have DBZ 1-10 in that style , it was one of the first manga to kick off in America
For the original DB, they're guaranteed uncut (where there's both edited and uncut versions of vols. 1-3 floating around with white covers), and they fit with volumes 11-16.
I'm quickly running out of "short attention span" jokes to make, here.PsyLiam wrote:No it doesn't. The original white printing of the first 3 DB graphic novels are edited. Then they did some that weren't edited. And then they did the red ones.

Jesus Christ, how is this remotely hard to understand?
The original white versions were edited up to and including version 3. Then they stopped editing it, and rereleased the original 3 versions in "unedited" form.
So for volumes 1-3 of the white version, there are edited and unedited versions. The unedited ones say "13+" on the front, the edited ones don't. All the white ones after 3 are unedited, and all the red SJ versions are also unedited.
DBZ is ever-so-slightly edited in both big-white and small-white versions.
Got it? It really is very, very, very simple.

You're not exactly painting a beautiful picture of yourself. You're walking very close to the line, so I suggest you watch yourself.spikemcruffy wrote:You are really annoying with all your smart comments , that picture of yours represents you!

Yes, we know! The DBZ graphic novels have been edited from day one. As are the red ones.spikemcruffy wrote:Did you not listen to me you smart ass , I said the SJ graphic novels I had were edited , as in for all ages!
I'm trying not to be sarcastic, but you are making it really, really hard. Just...say exactly what is confusing you, and I'll try my best to explain it without being even slightly amusing. 'kay?
