DBZ game hacks.

Post by 100% » Sat Sep 27, 2008 2:55 pm

Bare with me i'm new :)

Many of you have heard of ROMS and emulators i'm pretty much sure.

and maybe some of you have heard of people hacking into these games, and either changing the game in subtle ways, or even creating a new game in general. These are usually done by using software, usually being free to download legally if you know where to look.

If you're lost then i'll give you an example.

Pokemon shiny gold.
is a hackrom made by altering Pokemon Fire Red.

Those of you, who understand what i'm talking about...

Do you know if there is anything like this for Dragonball z?
i had heard of a budokai 3 hack, but i can't find it anymore.
I was thinking along the lines of a Legacy of Goku hack?

Most of these hacks come in ROM form.

Hello, Mr.New Guy. I've heard of the Budokai 3 mod as well. But I'm not sure if we can actually converse about semi-illegal things such as making DBZ ROMS to put them up on the internet and get net famous. I heard that Vegetto EX totally dislikes ROMS.

He dislikes illegally downloading shit without buying it but I feel rom hacks are such a gray area. Sure you're playing a modified version of Pokemon Fire Red but it's modified to be a completely different experience.

Anyway there are no rom hacks of the Legacy of Goku games I know of. In fact I don't know of many DBZ rom hacks period.

I don't download games available to buy, i don't see much point. but say if a MOD does come out of which is not available on the market, or nothing close comes to it, i do usually check it out.

But saying that, i havn't played or downloaded many ROMS from the internet.
