Episode #0147! VegettoEX and Meri recap AWA and all of the shenanigans that went on. We also review three CDs ("Burst Limit" OST, Dragon '98 Special Live, Animelody Night). Some e-mail and music discussion and general awesomeness rounds out the episode. Referenced sites:
Go ahead and grab it. Big thanks to godofchaos for hosting the kinda nice *one-hundred-forty-seven* episodes, now.

Huh. The one thing not here is what I *didn't* see, Meri's Iron Editor-losing video. Mech fest beats everything else. And you aren't mentioning your Inspirations at all on the site?

I mean, I suppose it's not topical, but neither are your Street Fighter or Pokemon AMVs.

Also, I'd like to mention that I would visit an AMV EX, even though VG Convos doesn't interest me and I have yet to actually check out WTF EX.

Anyway, I'd pick up Legend of Dragonworld or Burst Limit, but I frankly only own volumes 1-6 in VizBig form, one of the Z Season Sets, and some bootleg VHS tapes. I'm gonna go about actually owning the series before I buy any more games...

...except Dragonball DS. So cute.

I was going to post up the set-list from our panel at some point once I actually got a chance to put everything up online.

Which I'm mostly done with, now :). It'll come... maybe tomorrow...

I might check out VG Convos; I do <3 videogames....

What a coincidence #150 and the wedding fall on the same weekend. XD

I know I have asked about it in other threads, but those character sheets you guys received of Goku with an axe, Vegeta, Kuririn, Marron, and whoever else you didn't mention during last week's podcast; could you please please please post them somewhere?

The guy who sent you the file, he never posted those images anywhere else himself so we're all left in the dark; and to be honest I'm starting to worry that we might not see anything else related to the special until it comes out on DVD who-knows-when. @_@

Pretty good podcast and awesome trailer for poor Appule! Interesting to hear how the wedding coincides with the possible making of ep 150, though we'll understand if that one and others are postponed. To be honest, I'm amazed you guys have still found the spare time to do other eps and go to AWA this past month. Many thanks and props!

A personal note: Although I knew you were on your way back to NJ on the Sunday of AWA, I made mention of you after I replayed your Street Fighter II video on Sunday. It was my favorite Pro video this year, and I was disappointed it wasn't nominated for anything. I hope everything goes well for the wedding, and I certainly hope you continue to make inspiring videos like that one. Again, thank you for everything you do.

With that said, YAY FOR ANOTHER MUSIC EPISODE. I'm happy to see the Dragon '98 special re-released on CD ... I never got that CD before, even with my windfall last year that allowed me to buy all the Hit Song Collection CDs, so this will be a very fun addition to the music catalog.

And in the vein of anime remixes, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Tokyo Brass Style, whose arrangement of "Makafushigi Adventure" I brought up last year. I know they've covered "Cha-La Head Cha-La" but I haven't heard that yet, so maybe somebody can invest in a few CDs of Tokyo Brass Style? (Also go look for their cover of "Sorairo Days" on YouTube - it's very delightful.)

Good show, good show. Keep up the fine work!

Very enjoyable podcast and I fell like a sucker for Dragon 98 Special Live. Ordered!

EDIT: The Street Fighter AMV was pure win.

Good podcast guys, I like the little sound bits you played.
