My god, it's hideous.. and they actually did reuse that art of Mr. Satan from Sparking! Meteor.

That really does suck. It looks like a bad photoshop effort. And I hate Mr. Satan on the cover. Nice the Trunks pic though

Because he's the last villain in Z? At least, that's what my guess is.

I haven't seen the Japanese cover, and Amazon Japan doesn't have cover art for it yet, but the same image from the European cover is on the Japanese website for the game, but the positions of the characters are different. Starting with the first Sparking game Europe has always gotten the same cover art, so the Japanese cover is probably the same.

The image looks way better on the Japanese site. The characters are proportioned better, and blend in a better with each other.

It's possible that the box art is a mockup--it's not too uncommon for games at this stage of development.

That's what it was for the first glimpse we got of the US BT2 boxart (which was later improved in the final version). People here just like to flip their wigs over anything.

I tend to not care about box art too much anyway for a video game. I just care about the contents, and I can always print out alternate box art and stick that inside the cover if it bugs me too much(which has only happened for...two games, I think).

Sweet, Loads of new screenshots on IGN.

Krillin seems to have a mini game too, also we get to see some shots of battle damaged Goku on Dying Namek a few pages before that one and that "Map" thing that we previous heard of that was related similar to Budokai 2's story mode. Also Raditz is shown in a few shots back fighting Goku on a stage similar to the plains one from B3, same as Frieza fighting in some screens as well. :3

I think the box art is a fake. It looks horrible. The characters a positioned all wrong.

But it's on Atari's website. Why would they put fake boxart on their own website? I don't think it's placeholder art either because the game comes out in less then a month.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Nice screenshots. Can't wait for this game to come out.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I guess Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is an Infinite World for candy-loving kiddies.

Well looks like the "Adventure Mode" in the game isn't going in the same direction as Tekken 5's did. Or maybe it is.
EDIT: I'm a little uneasy about them re-using character icons such as Bulma's. I guess laziness is a virtue these days.
