Are they the same?
Is the Dragonball anime the same as the manga? I mostly interested in DBZ at the moment.

If I actually know what you mean with this...
The Dragonball manga is both Dragonball and Dragonball Z in one, although Viz changed this to add / end to confusion by renaming the manga to "Dragonball Z" at about volume 17, where the Z storyline actually started.
If this is more a question about filler scenes, there's actually a guide about that on the main site, in progress. Hopefully you can get a good idea of the differences from the little there is at the moment.

Minor things, like the decapitation of a man by #20, Freeza killing Cargo on Namek, and a slightly more graphic death of Babidi, as I recall. But nothing Earth-shattering or plot-changing.SuperFusion wrote:No, I mean. Are they exactly different or are there some things that the Z anime left out that the manga has?

Babidi's death was even more gruesome in the manga? Damn, and I thought it was pretty fuckin' bloody in the anime...

Strangulation and decapitation, followed by explosion... if I remember correctly.Super Sonic wrote:How was his death in the manga? I've only seen the manga as far as the US release.
