Why couldn't FUNimation bring Legends over the the US in the first place. I still can't play my copy due to region settings!

I don't think Mr Satan could do that.
She had a sharp blade and a laser.

And I really doubt a twelve year old regular human girl is stronger than a guy who won the World Martial Arts Tournament.
She threw her blade and that was enough to cut the dinosaur. There's no way even a strong human in real life would be able to do that. Kid Chichi is way above Mr.Satan.

Be that as it may, that's all beside my point - that the most powerful characters in the series, the Goku/Vegeta fusions, can be smacked around by the weakest fighters in the game, but Broly can't be budged by characters who are way more powerful than he is (the SSJ2s).

I think you're forgetting Brolly's power is maximum.

The "wall effect" is just something the larger characters have, to make up for the lack of speed, it's all about balance, it really doesn't have anything to do with how their strength ranks in the series, if you actually follow these things, you end up with a game that's completely unplayable.

Besides, Super Saiya-jin 4 Gogeta doesn't need to be any stronger.

Also, you can use items to create the wall effect on those characrters.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I know it can't be completely accurate, and I have no problem with that. It's a game first, after all.

But when Goku goes from SSJ2 to SSJ3, he also goes from 'can't budge Broly' to 'smack my bitch up'. So there is some concept of power levels behind the brickwall thing.

Ooh, really? Which items? I can't make heads or tails of half the translations in-game.

This link may have been posted already, but I have a specific question about it. Halfway through, during the Gohan v. Buu fight, is the BGM a remix from one of the PS1 or SNES DBZ games? It sounds familiar, but I can't place it.

Light Body (1) - The "wall" effect, but only works against small ki blasts.

Power Body (4) - The "wall" effect, but doesn't work against ki blasts.

Ultimate Body (5) - The complete "wall" effect.

Draconic Aura (3) - It lets the character go through the "brick wall" effect, like Goku SSJ3 and other stronger characters. There's a catch though, it only raises the character hit level in one point.

Here are some examples:

- If Mr.Satan is equipped with it, he can stun standard characters with no problems, but it isn't effective against great apes or Legendary SSJ Brolly.

- If Tenshinhan is equipped with it, he can stun Great Ape Baby, however, when Baby activates the blue bar, he gets another level of "wall", so Tenshinhan won't be able to stun him, unless he gets to the blue bar too, which gives everyone a temporary Draconic Aura.

- If a Great Ape is equipped with Ultimate Body, the opponent's Draconic Aura will be effectively canceled (though Baby will have less slots due to the higher cost of Ultimate Body).
