Saiyans are more rock solid than that. Even a half like Trunks has that will to fight. He may not have liked the wy his world was, but he wouldn't wind up shell shocked. Considering these people all come back from the dead (Including Trunks) with hardly a care in the world I doubt he'd be effected that badly. Toriyama didn't write the Trunks character that way. Keep in mind, not every War Vet came back a wreck, many were fine. Trunks would be like them.

I'd say he'd pretty much settle down. I don't think he'd completely abandon training like Gohan did giving the way his life was. But I think he'd settle down and find love.

Hopefully Trunks would go back and save the future before staying in the present. Also, I feel bad for Bulma! All alone...

Anyway, if he stayed, I don't know!? Maybe he'd go to high school/Cram School, since the world is in peace. Otherwise, I don't think Trunks would be a training junkie like his father.
