Who knows, if TOEI likes how OP is doing maybe they'll throw FUNimation a bone.

From what I've gathered, Toei DOES like how FUNi is handling One Piece and is quite pleased with the results of DVD sales and feedback from fans. What they didn't like was CN dumping the series from its lineup. That's about it.

Hey I was thinking. Someone with the GT dragonbox. If you could watch the trailer and give us some screencaps it would be great. I can supply the HQ trailer caps then.

i cant wait for the 3 new things to come out on the 11th.
i always get excited to see the new trailers and new box art.

what do you think the cover will be for:
GT season 2
DBZ season 8
movies 7/8 - thats the cover I've been most interested to see

GT- I bet they'll throw in one SS4 atleast, so I'm saying SSJ4 Goku?

Season 8- Someone random like Jajirobe (he's so underrated)

movies 7/8- Those could actually look pretty good...

Personally, I don't trust the 4:3 DBGT season 1 trailer to be footage from the actuall set. Funi has advertaised only the good part of their releases on many occasions (in this case the episodes themselves) and not told us about the bad parts.

Well they already did movies 8 and 10 (on bluray at least), so I would think it would be 7/9?

GT Season Two: Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta
Z Season Eight: Majin Boo
Movies 7 & 8: Super Saiyan Goku

I'll be very surprised if Gogeta's not on season two. I would make a "DBZ season eight's gonna have King Enma's Henchman on the cover lolz" joke, but are those really even funny anymore? I'm thinking Super Saiyan Goku for the next double feature because we really haven't had a full-on picture of a Super Saiyan on a double feature yet. For movies 9 & 10, I'm guessing that's where we'll finally get a cover of Gohan, as he's arguably the most important character in both films.

Yea, but those releases didn't have the Japanese BGM on the English dub so, I guess they still have a reason to release it.

@ magicbox - with the odd piccolo cover for 7 i wouldnt doubt them doing another random hero just to have them BTU i would put SS Vegito on the cover; and i was thinking ss4 Gogeta for GT.

Do you think they will split all 3 broly movies up? if the go 2 by 2 all 3 will be in different releases.

Now the big question; since each season set shows the preview for the next release, we'll have Z season 9, movies 7/8, but WHAT do you think GT season 2 will have? they are out of things to do since they dont have the DB rights; maybe the gt movie?

That release was for a different set. They did those two as their first Blu-Ray release and due to the popular repsonse they decided to restart at the begining and release all of the movies 2 at a time in Blu-Ray and stabdard DVD, so they will release 8 and 10 again.

And like Tanooki Kuribo said, there will be some changes between the original Blu-Ray release of movies 8 and 10 and the Double Feature releases.

Probably on its own, if Funi has the option of selling 2 releases (DBZ movie 13 and DBGT TV special) on their own or selling them both together they are going to use the first option.

That would be pretty cool BUT that would be like over a year away but i love new artwork/covers so id like to see how they do a cover

still think it show have been longer with a bit more fighting.

Hopefully, they aren't sold together. If they're sold together then the GT TV special will most likely be cropped to widescreen, which will look weird since the rest of GT will be released in fullscreen.
The idea about the new special is good, but that seems too soon. Knowing FUNi they'd want to advertise it separate to get high sales for the "new Dragon Ball Z movie".
