roshi is weak, yeah hes old and all but pretty much passed the king piccolo saga he didnt do much ... just ilke chichi except for making gohan and goten.

videl has more abilities and youth on her side.

Roshi is insanely powerful compared to the likes of ChiChi and Videl.

videl has more abilities and youth on her side.

What abilities, besides flight?

I'm sorry, but calling the Turtle Hermit weak is going too far and I cannot let that one pass. He has proven himself much more capable than anyone outside of his little group, including Videl. His ability to judge his opponents and play with their weaknesses is something that only an aged and experienced fighter is ever capable of. For centuries, he has been the only one to climb Karin Tower. He is also the creator of many of the techniques that Goku & company use throughout the entirety of the series.

I very much doubt Videl would be capable of destroying the moon in her lifetime. If you think that Videl is a superior warrior to Chichi, that is all fine and dandy, but if you think that she is more powerful than Kame'sennin, you are grossly mistaken.

ok hes not powerless, just weak compared to most of the Z warriors, especially passed the namek saga [as proved my bulmas scouter] hes got power, just useless against villians

yes he could beat both videl and chichi with little effort.

videl can control her ki, chichi can NOT.

Scouter's aren't a good indication of a person's strength when the Z warriors can suppress their chi. Vegeta and Nappa learned that the hard way.

True, but it gives a base level of things. goku, piccolo, krillin...people like that are stronger than roshi in Z.

Chi Chi has fought and been slapped by Super Saiyans. Videl has not.

Videl and actually fly. Chi-Chi can like barely float/glide in movie one.
Videl would not Chi-Chi around the block in her prime.

Self-trained (ie pre-Kamesennin training) Yamucha? No. 23rd Budoukai Chichi would murder 21st Budoukai Yamucha, and they were roughly the same age at those times.

Chichi at the 23rd Budoukai would be around 21st Budoukai Kuririn level, I'd assume, and that's pretty damn powerful.

You cant base that on presumptions.

i could presume that videl could lift up 3 city busses since mr satan could pull that many and she is stronger than him, but it would just be guessing.
