That's filler.

Since ChiChi was stated to be training Goten, she must've kept up her own training.

ok then ... the great saiyaman/other world tournament saga was filler, so that one mention of sparing with goten would be out of the window as well.

The Other World Tournament as filler. The Great Saiyaman Saga isn't (overall; there's filler sprinkled around, obviously), and "ChiChi trained Goten" is in the manga.

Does anyone have the scans of the pages of the two training? b/c ven if they DID animate it i promise there would be no high speed anything; it was probably like when kirllin and goku fought at the end of GT.

Chichi cant do high speeds; else we would have seen her do it.

Even if Goten only was around 15.000 in base in the Buu saga (while sparring), this gives Chi Chi a huge stretch in power.
If not she only taught him the techniques alone, she was able to keep up with a strong fighter, whilst Videl couldn't handle Spopovitch (who couldn't be stronger than 1000.

Myself, I believe that the newer generation human martial artist are weaker than the old generation.
The commentator even tells that there hasn't been any strong fighters since Goku's last Tenkaichi Budokai battle.
Sure, he cannot sense ki, but I believe that he has been around long enough to see who is the better fighter, and if the likes of Mr. Satan were so extraordinary, the commentator wouldn't make that comment.
My point is that I think that Chi Chi would easily beat Videl down. Even in the Buu saga.
Kame-sennin sure kept most of his power, and so should Chi Chi too, especially since she had kept up with some training.

Again, you are just guessing at power levels.

the only reason they were boring was no flight and the ring stayed intact.

i still think youthful videl would beat down old chichi.

becuase thats the only thing I've heard the etire time about chichi, is sparing with goten.

Wasn't shown, most thing like that aren't shown in the manga. Goten just says ChiChi trained him while Gohan was studying all the time.

Have you ever sparred with someone?
Do you know how much skill and strength it takes to even be able to handle someone who is stronger and faster than you?
Do you know how ridiculous it actually is for Chi Chi to spar with Goten? For her to be able to do it, she should be really good. That would also be the matter if she only trained him to be that good when he fights.
Videl couldn't even handle Spopowitch.

The powerlevel that I assumed, was by far lower than it should be in Goten's base, comparing Goten and Trunks's fighting action in the Buu saga.
Even if I put Goten's level by say, 2000 in base (a half-saiya-jin hybrid, in base for Gods sake, is by far hundreds times stronger than that in base) it still would be too much for Chi Chi to handle if she wasn't good at martial arts.

And skill-wise: Videl has nothing in skill compared to Chi Chi. She can only fly, but Goku vs. Piccolo Jr. did fine without flying.
Chi Chi is an adept fighter, that without any problem went through qualification rounds.
Ant those fighters at that era, were very skilled. There were the likes of King Chapa as an example.
Do you think that Mr. Satan ever fought someone like King Chapa? No, I don't think so.
Also, the Turtle Hermit way of teaching was World Wide known as one of the best skills. Chi Chi fought with that style.
I don't think anyone that trains with a boxing-bag could handle that skill.

I think that Chi Chi is superior in power and skill. That's why she would win.

The only reason I have heard that makes Videl the winner is her youth (Kamesennin vs. Yamcha proves that youth theory wrong, as an example) and her ability to fly. I already gave an example that it didn't hinder Goku to win against Piccolo Jr. in the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai.

didnt a piccolo henchman kill chapa? .. and didnt yarijobe kill a piccolo henchman? - you cant tell me yajirobe would win against videl.

Yes he was. He won one of the pre-Dragonball World Tournaments without being hit once.

Yajirobe is in the couple thousands, strength-wise. he'd beat the stuffing out of Videl.

Dude, he trained under Kami and took punches and kicks from Vegeta. Yajirobe is near Raditz in strength.

he took the punches .... whens the last time someone actually died from a punch? [the good guys?] again, if he was any strong he would have helped in the fights, all he does is eat and flys around in the rocket pod thing.

just because you train under someone doesnt mean youre gonna be greatness. you could get the little blind kid that buu helped out to train with kami AND roshi; doesnt mean they will be good.

Yajirobe ain't on Goku's level or nothing, but he'd make Videl look like trash. If Yajirobe wasn't so lazy he could win the World Tournament every year.

The only thing you keep saying is "Videl can fly and use her ki".

Yeah Yajrobe took a kick from Vegeta into the side of a moutain and got up. Hell he only needed his head bandaged.

Not to mention before that Yajirobe fought evenly with Goku in Dragonball. Nobody is going to suggest Videl would beat Piccolo Saga Goku are they? Yajirobe maybe lazy but he is still a really tough guy.

hhmmm...who got buu to stop killing people and who got the people of earth to give their energy to the spirit bomb and who got vegeta out of the way else goku wasnt gonna throw the spirit bomb? sounds like mr satan to me; if he wasnt on the kai planet, buu would have killed everyone. that = world champ for me.

yajirobe never fights without that sword and you cant use weapons in the tournament.

Yajirobe was fighting Goku hand to hand and was doing good.

If Videl got kicked at full force by Saiyan Saga Vegeta she would be finished. Yajirobe recovered fairly quickly.
