For the record, Yajirobe is very strong. He kept up with Goku towards the end of the Piccolo saga, which must have made him one of the toughest on Earth at the time. He's just incredibly lazy and not dumb enough to go into a fight that'll get him killed.

Or, in his own words: "I hate heroes. Especially dumb ones."

@ Raki - yes I know that about Mr satan.
He is the only one of the z fighters [minus pan and uub bc they werent there longer enough] that never died in the series; everyone else did at some point and had to be brought back.

There is a [stupid?] argument I keep seeing thrown around. If x was strong, x would have participated in a large-scale battle... logical falasy, indeed.

Mr. Popo toyed with the Goku that just killed Piccolo Daimao. Popo has never participated in a real battle during the series.
King Kai is supposedly stronger than Raditz, but below Goku at the time of the Nappa fight (whether it's 5000 or 8000 or whatever, I don't really know). King Kai has not fought.
King Cold was pretty powerful. All he did was take Trunks' sword and get killed.
On that note, "You should know that the weapon doesn't make the man." - Yajirobe kept up during the Vegeta fight. Yajirobe. Is. Stronger. Than. Videl.
Videl is a crimefighter/martial artist. So we see her do a lot of fighting.
ChiChi fights when she has to, or at least when she has something to gain from it; she also has a family. She's willing to put herself in harm to protect her family (See: Buu), but isn't going to get herself killed when it seems like there's a better way (See: Cell).
... Ur... or ame only one that noticed that this thread has mostly been "Let's toy with the crappy argumentss while we wait for something valid to show up"?

As for ChiChi Vs Videl... If this happened, I'd expect it interrupted. XD.

I LARGELY agree that Popo is very powerful. He was faster that kid goku there for awhile and trained him technically for some time.

AS WELL as he grabbed and stopped ss goten and ss trunks mid flight at the same time instantly.

Popo has power; we neede to have seen it or something - besides him gettin owned in the garlic jr stuff. GT should have had a battle with popo and dende against a baby minion, just to see some more action.

Chichi gets my vote too,

She was trained by Gyu-Mao who was trained by Kame Sennin, who said himself that she was a skillful fighter, when she was going berserk on Goku for having forgotten about his promise to her. I don't think flying would really save Videl, she might have a rudimentary control of Ki, but I think that Chichi's skill and brute strength surpasses hers.

Your trainer doesnt have anything to do with your strength. I watched the episode today; one kick and chichi went down

You're saying that after making a big deal out of Videl being Mr Satan's daughter and trained by him?

Anyway, Buu-saga Videl probably would have gone down from one kick from that saga's Goku too. I still think the two are comparably strong. A fight between them would be interesting.

Kame-senin?
Korin?
Kami-sama?
Kaio-sama?

Yeah, those guys don't do anything to increase the strength of their students.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

The z warriors are the exceptional ones.

If those trainers chose to train mr satan do you thinkn he would be ridiculously stronger?

Very much so, if the big lug took it seriously.

Satan is a legitimate world champion. Just because the Z Fighters took a tournament off, doesn't mean he beat up on the weakest of the weak. There was nothing stopping the equivalents of Namu, Panputto, Giran, Wolf-Man and the like from entering. It may not mean much to the Z Fighters by then, but winning the Tenkaichi Budokai is no easy feat.

Compared to the average resident of DragonWorld, Mr Satan is quite above them. But Kame-senin,The Ox King, the Crane Hermit, and Tao Pai Pai all outclass him in leaps and bounds.

He doesnt get enough dues for his character. he is one of the most important people in the buu sagas for numerous reasons, especially on the Kai planet, and was the only character on earth that never died.

World champ AND last human are two pretty big titles.

Yeah. But most of the "great things" he did, he didn't even mean to do them.

I suppose he deserves credit as a sort of plot device, in that he's used by Toriyama to get things moving along. But as a character I don't think he deserves much credit at all.

He doesnt get credit for moving vegeta out of the way on the kai planet, else goku wouldnt have thrown the spirit bmb and kid buu would have had a chance to attack goku again?

Noone but the Saiya-jins get enough credit in Dragonball Z. That's just the way it is.

Still, he doesn't get enough credit as the Saiya-jins do, and very little credit acually, compared to his feats.
He is practically forgotten as a fighter after the Cell Saga.
