Fixing the broken thread, and showing off my latest additions in the meantime:

The GT series figures are out of production now; I've been lucky enough to find those two in various smaller stores. The RiteAid next to my church has the series' Uub; I should try to grab it before it disappears.

I know, right? I really wish they'd gotten my attention BEFORE they went out of production. The one that actually caught my eye was the SSj4 Vegeta one. I saw it at Toys R' Us, but by the time I came back with money it was gone and all they had were a half-dozen of the Goku ones, so I grabbed one of those instead.

I have a Vegetto from the Z series, too, but I think I've already posted it in this thread.

Yes, that figure of Piccolo Daimao sitting in his chair is one of the coolest ones I've ever seen. From what I can tell, it's one of Toei's products. I can't tell if it gives you the option of buying it unpainted or painted, or if it just shows you what it can look like when painted on this page of Toei's site, all I know is that it looks awesome!

I have a Vegetto from the Z series, too, but I think I've already posted it in this thread.

They sell these babies in Toys R' Us?! Wow I guess I've gotta browse around. I actually acquired 8 of these babies in a candy store recently in the summer. Hell, I haven't even opened any of them yet. I'm opting to search around ebay to complete the entire set. As of now, Super Buu, Vegeta, Majin Vegeta, Super Saiyan Gohan, Cell, Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Saiyan Gotenks are in my posession. The paintjobs on the Super Saiyan hair are phenomonal as well...a slight tint of shine and ..sparkly

Plus, unlike the Super Battle Collection figures, the faces aren't warped out of near-unrecognition.

Dragon Ball Z: Season 7 just arrived today, picture of it coming soon ^^. Oh and if no one knew already about the next cover for Season 8, Majin Vegeta is on it xD.

Wow, that's amazing, I can't wait to see this.

Here are my latest additions that I recieved yesterday:

My first Season Set from the US, the next Steelbook and two rare gems just for the heck of it. This Season Set is much better than my first three Madman sets, it kind of makes the Madman sets look like a bootleg in a way.

Unless FUNimation decides to pull another Piccolo on us, we can safely assume that the last cover will be Gotenks, Vegetto or (most likely) some form of Majin Boo.

. . . so that confirms it, then? Gohan, (arguably) the most important Z series character, gets zero covers out of nine so that both Goku and Vegeta can each have two?

Shame, shame.

Despite the above joke, I'm not one of those people who rioted over the decision to have Piccolo on the cover of Season Seven. I say, give all the main heroes and villains a shot. Piccolo's certainly worth it. And it's for that very reason that Gohan should definitely have had at least one cover-- everyone else did.

To keep in the spirit of things, though: Yeah, c'mon. Let's see some shizzle from Season Seven (though preferably in a new thread, I would think).

Wow lol, I did think that I was the first one to get the set, since no thread has been made xD. I'll have pictures up soon, and maybe some shots from the set. You guys can ask for some of specific scenes if you want, though on the thread for season seven. I'll put the link here later.

Edit: ROFL, I was a bit late on my reply from the person above me, well in any case, I'll post images there.

You mean packaging wise?

I only own the first two Season sets as put out by madman, but I much prefer a solid fatpack case to a flimsy piece of cardboard destined to fall to pieces.

Yes. Well, overall, I find the FUNimation release a far more decent release, for many reasons.
