Next Double Feature to be Movies 7 & 9 (And GT Season 2)

Hell ya. This pissed me the hell off. I want my Movies to be in order on my shelves. Not mixed up for the rabid Broly fanboys to suck on Broly's dick. (OK maybe that was over the top, but I'm fuming right now).

I would have preferred A good shot of Final Form Bojack on the cover but clearly that's the least of my problems.

Look, maybe we can start up a petition right now. We've got months before this goes on the market. There's a chance that we can change FUNi's mind. Let's flood them with E-Mail's and start a petition. This is something much smaller than cropping the footage. There's a chance we can reverse this. Like when Season 1 was original 5 discs.

As for GT's cover art. Personally I would have preferred SSJ4 Vegeta. But Gogeta's a good choice too. I just hate the shot. The eyes look weird.

Told Lance Heiskel about the cover at Toon Zone.

Hopefully the backlash over the Season Seven cover being Majin Vegeta and then Piccolo will help make changing it easier.

DragonBall GT: Season One is going to be 5 discs instead of 6, and it's got 32 episodes. If y'wanna petition about something, try that.

Petitioning for the movies to be put back in the proper order is useless for two reasons. One is that they probably just won't, and the other is that they can't-- there would still be the problem of what to do with Movie 13. I don't like this arrangement any better than you do, but at the same time I think that FUNi's kinda backed into the corner on this one.

I doubt the disc count on GT will change considering all of FUNi's 13 Episode Box Sets are all 2 Disc'ers. In other words, 1 disc always has 7 Episodes.

I just hate the thought of my shelf having the movies out of order. I say release Movie 13 as a single if need be. Or couple it with the GT Special. Or better yet. Dub "Heya! Son Goku and his Friends Return".

Fortunately it isn't. The image of Frieza on Season 3 is a vectored image from a poster produced by Toei from what I remember.

I could deal with the idea of a Triple Feature better than I could the thought of buying a second single of Movie 13, remastered or not.

Those are certainly viable options, and to be honest I was counting on the movies to be released in order so that the GT special could conceivably be given room like the two Z specials were. Now that 13 will be paired with 12, it leaves me to wonder where the GT special will end up.

According to a poster on the AoDVD Forums, the listing for GT Season 2 says the GT Special will be with it.

Without a doubt...I was personally hoping the GT Special would be coupled with Movie 13. Or better yet (And less likely), Movie 13 couples with "The Plan To Eradicate the Saiya-jin" or "Heya! Son Goku and His Friends Return".

Vegeta was barely in Movie 9. He was laying in bed watching TV for most of it (I don't blame him either; he was mourning Goku's death.)

Out-of-order movies make me head-desk. >_O
I mean, its not like they haven't already made a Brolli 3-pack two years ago.

Regarding the special, do you think it will have it's own disc, or just on disk 5?

*Thinks*...Well, if Season 1 will have 34 Episodes. That mean that Season 2 will have 30. So 6 Episodes per disc if there's 5 discs. They can easily throw a few Episodes onto other discs and make the first few 7 Episodes each. But I think it's more logical to just give the Special it's own disc.

I wonder if Steve Franco will push for the dubbing and remastered release of Dragon Moon X and the Seven Balls or whatever that was called when they're done with GT.
