I'm importing it from Play-Asia(yeah, I'm a PALer *shock*, gonna be annoying to use good ol' swap magic again and again) but I hate how they still don't have it in stock, what's taking them so long!? Darn it!

Watching people's gameplay vids makes me even more hyped for the game. >_<

I already told you I moved to AUS a while back so yeah I am.

Anyways, I sure as hell can't, especially since the Australian dates changed to "TBA 2009" everywhere which scares me.

Well I wouldn't jump the gun yet, maybe you can still wait for December 18 and find the game. EB Games and Gamefaqs juggle release dates all the time so don't worry.

But still, I really wanna know what the hell's taking Play-Asia so long to get the game in stock! Even Yes-Asia has it now. >_>

Confirmed by someone who bought the game that all transformations are condensed into one capsule called "Transform!"

Pretty awesome.

Cell Junior and Kaioshin are no big loss, but major bummer about Uub and DB Goku; so that decided it; looks like I'll be picking this AND Budokai 3 up... whenever I can get a PS2. :(

I can see cutting Kid Goku, since there's no other DB characters and the Kid Goku from GT is now in...but why would they cut Uub?

I know, If they're including more GT elements, it would make more sense to not only keep Uub, but improve him as well. B3 Uub was just his relatively-underpowered 28th Budokai self; they should have had his GT "Super Uub" version or something.

The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Just picked up the game, and I've just finished the first mission. Here are some thoughts:

1) First off, the original song is kept in the opening, I love it. The 3D artwork/animation is a lot better than the BT series, but I still miss the 2D openings.

2) You can have original Japanese VA's, and there seems to be a lack of tournement mode.

3) The cutscenes look good, but the free roam missions control a little stiff.


Thats just what I've gathered from the first 15 minutes or so of gameplay.


EDIT: Also, there's no official training mode. They're in the form of optional missions in the story mode.

Not really, they need them for story battles for the human Z Fighters to participate in. Cell Jr.'s are slightly more superfluous.

I assume he's talking about its color. In this game, it's still yellow though, only blue in cutscenes. But does it really matter? Just as Dimps made them yellow, Toei made them blue in the anime which isn't what the manga's colored pages had either. So just because they're yellow doesn't mean they're wrong, Toei did the same by improvising a different color and design to AT's giant sparks with grey outlines. :P
