Password characters are custom characters that have Red Potara items equipped to them. The Red Potara's are extremely powerful items that you can't equip to normal characters.JulieYBM wrote:Another question: who are these password characters and how the heck do I use them?

You can also have your friend share the Passwords for their custom characters with you.SSJ2bardock wrote:Password characters are custom characters that have Red Potara items equipped to them. I kind of wish Soul Calibur IV had password characters. The customization is so awesome and even though people are posting their CASs, they're aren't posting recipes for them.SSJ2bardock wrote:Oh yeah! You gain some of them by completing the Survival Modes I think..Ah, it's been too long since I've completed the game. It would be easier if you could tell us which ones are missing.Rocketman wrote:Where are the remaining Z Items? I got all the ones the Shenrons can give and I bought out Launch's store (yeah, I used a Gameshark, so what), but I'm only at 96%. Do you randomly get some from tournaments or something?

The two between Vanishing Rush and Super Senses.
The four after King Kai's Training.
And what's with the "Goku Type" items and the like? I can't seem to equip them.
You put them in the very last slot in the customization screen. Those are AI potaras that dictate how they fight when played by the CPU.Rocketman wrote:The one between Evil Pride and Sparking Plus.Shenron wrote:You gain some of them by completing the Survival Modes I think..Ah, it's been too long since I've completed the game. OK everyone I found a glitch in the game a while ago but forgot to post it, anyways I want to see if it happens on anyone else's games. Here's the requirements -
1 - Choose any character that can go SSJ2
2 - Select that characters SSJ2 form to start the battle in
3 - Play out the battle, it doesn't matter if you win or lose
4 - After the battle DO NOT go back to character select, choose the "Fight again" option
When you start the battle again the character will still be in SSJ2 form, however he will not be sparking.

Yeah, that glitch was spoken about on gamefaqs a times. Also, I remember ages back, I got my friend, DSK to add a vid of the BT2 mountain glitch's return in BT3, ROFL, can't believe they didn't fix it.

Controller wise, if you have a Classic Controller, it plays pretty close to the DualShock.Komati wrote:I'am thinking about getting this game, should I get it fo PS2 or Wii? Control wise, not the exclusive things for each version.
I actually wish I had chosen the PS2 Version. Extra Modes and Potara and all.

This statement makes absolutely no sense.SSJ2bardock wrote:Get the PS2 version, fighting games shouldn't be on the Wii.
There is no inherent reason why a fighting game not only can be on the Wii, but played well on the Wii. Just because most of the fighting games that come out on the Wii are half-assed ports with shoveled-in waggle support doesn't mean the Wii isn't capable of playing a normal ol' fighting game.

Well then let me further elaborate on my statement, in my opinion I don't think the Wii is cut out for fighting games with a complexity that goes much further than Super Smash Bros. To me, the Wiimote just doesn't handle what you could get out of a PS2 controller.
Don't get me wrong, the Wii is a great system and it's loads of fun, but I just don't think your getting the most out of your fighting game with the Wii.
(Oh yeah, I have a Wii and a PS2, so this isn't just console fan-boy squabbling)
