Conceivably, Dayspring has put faith in the latest
rumor that's been goin' around.

Must be that rumor. I don't really care about that since I'll be importing the DBox single for that movie. Whenever I get my Saga of Goku set(R4), I'll be throwing that censored Movie 1 in the trash.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Don't throw it out! When everything DragonBall is finally uncut and subbed, it'll have novelty value.
eBay it to someone who doesn't know any better.

Good idea. Although I don't keep censored anime in my collection. But it might be worth something someday.

It's bound to be. Hell, I can see myself buying it just so I can teach my children a valuable lesson: "Don't you
dare whine to me about how slowly your ultra-edition Super Saiyan hologram video releases are trickling out. In my day, we had to sit through stuff like
this before we got anywhere NEAR to an uncut version-- you'd better count yourselves as lucky fucking bastards."

I'm not happy with DVDs. I wants Blu-Ray.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

Kids these days, I swear. Wouldn't know what to do with a good old-fashioned VHS tape if their lives depended on it!

... I love you guys.
I'm not especially concerned with graphics quality (what else is different between dvd and blueray, anyway?), so yeah... I'm satisfied with what I've got.
Though there's a chance I might want to get more of the Japanese version to force myself to get back into practice...
ur.... yeah. Curse of the Blood Rubies... when did I rent that? Eons ago...

I don't know that I'm ready to commit to buying the entire series of Toei singles when I have subtitled versions-- in fact, I'm quite sure I ain't-- but I do consider importing at least the movies from time to time. The covers look fucking
awesome, and from what I understand the audio is a lot better than anything FUNimation has put on their discs. It'd be a nice way of reminding myself why I love the series so much.
I suppose the price isn't too terrible either at thirty bucks a pop.

...I'm going to be getting movie 9 sooner. So I'm kind of happy.
>_>
I think I'll be buying assorted Dragon Ball things for the rest of my life.

I was thinking the same thing.

Kinda reminds me. Movie 9 is the only of the movies my girlfriend cares about that she doesn't have . . .

Has anyone noticed the inlays of the double features? The first DF had an inlay with the 1-star Dragon Ball on it. The second DF had an inlay with the 2-star Dragon Ball. Are you sensing where I'm going with this? :p
When Ii first saw this I was thinking how they would put 15 movies (2 TV specials and 13 movies) in 7 DF's. Now that movie 7 and 9 are put together, the only thing that makes sense is a triple feature of Broly. That would come upto 7 DF's (well, 6 DF and 1 TF).
So my guess:
Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks / Bardock: The Father of Goku (1-star DB)
Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone: The Movie / The World's Strongest (2-star DB)
Dragon Ball Z: Tree of Might / Lord Slug (3-star DB)
Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge / Return of Cooler (4-star DB)
Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13 / Bojack Unbound (5-star DB)
Dragon Ball Z: Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan / Broly: Second Coming / Bio-Broly (6-star DB)
Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn / Wrath of the Dragon (7-star DB)

It's not much of a change, but I figured everybody'd like to see a barcode-less version with better quality and less macroblocking.
Plus, I figure everybody's a tad more excited about these given how awesome they turned out to be.

I'm not more excited about them, and I don't think they turned out that awesome at all. =p

It's funny, the picture of Gojita on the box looks like he's saying "Stop, do not buy this, stay away !"
Funny I would say such a thing when I kinda like the GT season 1 set.

Whoa! Looks like no more villians. The Vegeta art looks slightly updated. Still pretty meh, though.
