I feel like disagreeing with this in that I want FUNi to at least give one of the series a proper release. It would be nice if FUNi put out a series that was somewhat true to what it was intended. That and GT is actually my second favorite series behind the second half of Z (Buu).Li'l Lemmy wrote:To be honest, I'd actually kinda have to agree. I know that widescreen isn't the series native format, but if GT turns out to be in fullscreen . . . well, it's only going to make me really, really pissy about Z being the opposite. At least if they're all (badly) consistent with one another, I can live a little better knowing that Z wasn't the only one to get butchered.Freeza Heika wrote:I'm such a stickler for consistency, that I'd rather have wide screen GT, just to suit my OCD tendencies.DBHighDefinition wrote:I think we can safely assume that these are not going to be in widescreen. I really do think it will be fullscreen though. I think it's been brought up that FUNi only has digibeta and not film. So, I'm pretty convinced.
Also, has anyone wondered why Wal-Mart's website says that the two GT sets are "TV-14"? Considering the Z sets are "TV-PG" I don't see why FUNi would change it other than to attract buyers. That or Wal-Mart messed up with that.
