If you are able to order online I have found that way is cheaper.

DBZ on Amazon:http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/dv ... d_1_4_last

Season 4 is $27.99 http://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-Seaso ... UTF8&s=dvd

And Season 5 is $29.99 http://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-Seaso ... UTF8&s=dvd

(I noticed you payed $40 for each  )

They're also MUCH cheaper at Walmart. They usually run about $30 each. Plus no shipping.

I like the orange M&Ms. That's a nice touch.

Yeah, I know I could find them cheaper elsewhere but every time I want to get them I end up putting it off for a theoretically lower price. I just said "screw it" and bought them at Best Buy when I saw them there during my wait for the Bond movie ticket lines next door to lessen. I didn't want to wait, I wanted them NOW. : P I just got my paycheck too.

I'll probably do that for the other ones though.

Although you have to pay shipping, so it might not be that different.

If you go over like $28 on Amazon shipping is free. But, if they're selling them at your local Wal-Mart then I guess you don't have to wait.

Yeah, after Best Buy stopped doing their Season/Movie bundle deals I'm gonna switch to good ol' Wally-World.

SSj_Rambo wrote:Well I'm proud to say that I finally own a Dragonball figurine...AND IT'S FROM JAPAN!!! As some of you may remember, I have a very limited collection of Dragonball "crap", and one of the things that I was craving most were some nice figures. Well, my Japanese neighbor just received a package from her aunt in Tokyo that had some cool trinkets and manga for her, but most of all, two Dragonball figures! They turned out to be the same one, so she gave me one and teased me when I started jumping around the room and squealing (who'd of thought the Japanese immigrant would be teasing me, a Caucasian American, about a love of a manga from her home country  ).

*snip*
Hey there, just in case you wanted some vague information about those figures, they're from a promotion being run at the Family Mart's in Japan around the beginning of summer. When I was travelling there, I bought a weird four-pack of lemon tea in order to get one of those small bagged figures, ended up with a rather nice one of Goku blasting Piccolo - pretty sure they only came with the four packs, at least that's the only time I saw them. Family Mart is awesome for so many reasons; this would be one of them.

Shipping really is not that bad (or at least shipping to me). Maybe if you live somewhere obscure or out there it may be a bit more.

For a one off piece of original, hand painted art used in the actual series, I think it is worth it. I have paid more for some others. Depends what your into I guess.

You have to post more of your collection (not just your cels though); I love seeing pictures of what other people have (even though it only fuels my cleptomaniac side).

I know this isn't really Dragonball, but I had to show this off -and you guys are the only ones who'd appreciate it.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Very nice. Got the entire English manga and first two seasons of the anime.

On topic, not any new merchandise, but did get a pic with Pilaf/Android 17 and Broly:

So I will take some images of the box and the dragon balls :P, I can't open the balls since I'll be saving the rest for Christmas. Definitely going to be looking forward to opening these up ^^, oh and my Dragon Ball X One Piece Tony Tony Chopper Plushie should be getting shipped soon. Chopper is wearing Son Goku's gi, so cool xD. Here are the images of what I'm getting, note these aren't mine, only used to show you guys what I'll be getting. Awesome, awesome series. I collected the Viz Kenshin as they released the series a volume at a time. If I may comment on the storyline. In short, volumes 1 - 17: sheer and utter brillianceness. The last arc however...blah..a lackluster buildup, good backstory, and a cheesy climax, but hey it wrapped up the entire story pretty damn nicely.

Well the Capsule series 2 set arrived today, here are some images. :D

This was my first time getting these so I wanted to show how they came in the box, I turned the dragon balls around so they would show the stars.

I picked the 4 star ball to show off, can you guess why I picked the four star ball?
