You would. Why don't you go around exchanging full-size aviators, pervies?

Atari's got up some new Budokai 3 pics.

http://www.atari.com.au/news/?action=view&id=775

Finally, Saiyan Saga/Early Namek Saga Vegeta! I don't know what's up with the dinosaur in there, but I guess it'll function.

EDIT:
Also, according to the US site, free flight is available during fights.

Thanks. The full-sized picture would convince you to watch GT. :P

Waaaay ahead of you there Zachy boy ;)

Anyways, it's about damn time we saw some new pics from Budokai 3! Although they once again got around showing us anything particularly new or interesting, watching Gohan fighting a dinosaur made it worth it.

Those Saiyan-saga Vegeta pics could be from the story mode. After all, he wore that outfit in several episodes during Budokai 1.

That Kaio-ken aura looks really, really cool though.

It says there that Kyoryu is not a fighter, but a stage trap, like the Battle Jacket in the Red Ribbon Army base in Budokai 2.

I didn't mean literally S...he's just sorta there...never mind. >.>

I noticed something about the Goku & Vegeta screen shots; even though he's wearing his scouter (which he was supposed to destroy before) his armor is missing the bottom section, and he has no tail...

CONTINUITY ERROR! CONTINUITY ERROR!!!

Actually, it's not. In the very very very early Freeza saga, he has that outfit. Then he destroyed his scouter when he realized he could sense ki.

But the fight scene is happening during the Saiyan saga, not the "early Freeza" (Namek Saga). So it's still incorrect. :P

I don't know why, but I was thinking of what moves Bardock would have in the game...

1) Oozaru. Like Chibi Goku's Meteo attack in UB22. Becomes an Oozaru, smacks them around for a bit, and then tosses them and hits them with a mouth blast while they are still in-air. But with a cool transformation sequence.

2) Dogpile Blast. The opponent, along with a bunch of random fighters from the game leap onto Bardock, then he blasts them all of, like in the Bardock Special.

How would number 2 be a special move? It sounds like something that would actually cause Bardock some damage...Perhaps that could be a special counter-move or whatnot, that only happens if he gets dogpiled.

If you think Vegeta not having the exactly correct armor is a continuity error, think about the entire Dragon World in Budokai 2.

I don't know if this has come up yet, but I think Atari (or whoever actually make the games) should somehow integrate ki to be relevant and affect your HP, just like in the series. What blew my mind is the "ki dropping" stages in Budokai 2 that made your ki eventually drop to zero, yet your HP stayed the same.
I was voted "most unique" and "most likely to become the next existential thinker" in high school.

Well, Babidi's ship did have a mode like that for 2 players. But yeah, I know what you mean. What Hyper Dimension did was more accurate than what they have now.

Thanks Maarken, but everyone's already aware of that. The link was on the front page a few days ago, and I'm pretty sure it's also linked somewhere a few pages back on this thread. And I already pre-ordered weeks ago. 8) pwnge!

Even though I sympathesize with not wanting to read 22 pages, you'd do well to go back a few anyways. There's some links to a few game pages, with brand-spanking new screenshots and info.

Did Vegeta lose his scouter while on Earth? I think he did (during one of those "the scouter says 10,000...20,000...30,000...* DRAMATIC CRACKING OF SCOUTER*" bits), but I can't remember. If he just took it off, then it's possible that after losing the bottom bit of his uniform (after reverting from Ozaru), he put the scouter back on, gave Goku a senzu and new clothing, beat him up a bit, tore his clothing, then threw his scouter off.

Yes.
