Hmm... That is odd. It looks similar to what my television does when I'm displaying the signal in 4:3 on my 16:9, maybe an overscan thing? Electronic noise?

I've noticed a bit of an oddity on the second eyecatcher. On the dub track with original BGM for episode 201 the returning eyecatcher theme was this:
http://www.mediafire.com/?3y3yetgdmlj

I've never heard this one before, so I switched the Japanese audio track and it was the same.

On the next episode, the returning eyecatacher theme on the dub with original BGM track was this:
http://www.mediafire.com/?9fnmommy9mi

This is the one I'm most familiar with and the one I definitley remember throughout the Buu arc. However, out of curiosity, I switched to the Japanese track, and lo and behold, the returning eyecatcher theme wasn't this one, but the one from before. I thought this was a really odd change. Not a big deal, but strange.

I'm sure it has been said, but the season 7 commercial on Cartoon Network was playing all night on Saturday! Jesus! They played once or twice every commercial break.

Wow, those look bad. @_@
[quote="Brakus"]For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". Nope, it's from Babidi - The Dark Prince Returns.

Oh ok, I gotta say Old Funimation looks better than the most caps I've seen of them.

EDIT: DBOX anyone?

Wow.

These look really blurry, not to mention colour-wise, it just looks like they turned up the contrast a little :?

The first pic looks good, but the second does not.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

The trailers always look blurrier than the final product.

The quality of the trailer isn't necessarily a sure sign of how good the set will be. Remember how different Season Six's trailer was from the product itself, leaving us pleasantly surprised?

I'm watching Disc 2 right now... Anyone else notice that the We Gotta Power intro looks pixelated to all Hell?

Yeah, it looks like shit. And the master for it is in piss-poor condition.

It's not the master that has to do with pixelation. It's bitrate.

This is surprising, considering I believe even Corey noted that the bitrate for these releases was pretty high.

But you haven't seen it. It has nothing to do with bitrate. It's sharp looking, but pixelated.

And when I said the master was bad, it's just that the color is way to dark and there's scratches and dirt all over the place for the intro.

I can confirm this. I wish Funi wouldn't advertise these as being remastered because that shit ain't true.
