I hope Toei would get the okay to do a new series focusing on Vegeta Jr. and Goku Jr. where the roles are reversed and Vegeta Jr. gets the spotlight and all the breaks.

..but that's the exact same problem. The fact is that most people with the mindset of giving someone else other than Goku the final blow wants to NOT have a favorite of the series. It would be just as annoying on Vegeta(Jr.) as it is on Goku(Jr.).

I guess I just didn't realise that so many people held resentment towards the character.

After 13 movies and GT, I just want to shove him out of the limelight. I don't even like Gotenks, but I would've preferred that he win instead of Goku once again getting the final blow.

I tend to want Vegeta to do stuff mostly because he always gets screwed over.

But in the end, Vegeta is very badass, even though he gets screwed over.

See this, Piccolo was strong and cool, but still he got thrown away as a babysitter in the Buu Arc.

The story is written, and the manga printed. Myself I have a hard time hating a fictional character. Except for DBGT Pan.

The only other person that we saw was Pack. There would be no one else to share the limelight with unless they introduce descendents of Dende or Kuririn and #18’s daughter Marron.

That is understandable because she steps in on rare occasions to replace Son Goten to form the super team the “Idiot Trio”.

I don't see what the big deal is about Goku saving the day. He is the main character of the show... it's been about him since day 1. Besides, it's Vegeta's fault for falling for his trick. haha.

Does it really matter who punched Abo and Cado? It didn't kill them. Besides, Vegeta got the upper hand before when he knocked Goku out to go and kill Buu. But that didn't work. And it's not like Goku always does everything himself... without Mr. Satan (Mr. Satan) 's help then he wouldn't have been able to defeat Buu. Without Vegeta's idea and help, he wouldn't have defeated him.

Without Yajirobe cutting off Vegeta's tail he wouldn't have saved the day... without Gohan Cell would have won...

Goku doesn't always win. He usually just plays the biggest part. In this instance, it was all in fun because there was no real threat.... the two "dads" just competed to see who could finish this guy off before he became a real problem.

Vegeta gets the upper hand through his son, who is slightly stronger than Goten.


And personally Goku, Gohan and Vegeta are all my favorite characters. Without one or the other they are not as interesting alone. People fail to realize the importance of ALL the characters in this series.

GT failed to realize that, that's for sure.

For the record - I do not hate Kakkarot/Goku. I don't really hate anyone from DB... for most part I find it rather hard to hate a fictional character.

Kak's just was driven further down my favorites list compared to before,, but that isn't to say I don't like him anymore.
