Well, I feel just terrible about not doing much of anything with my BGM documentation lately (even though, once AGAIN, I had promised to be better about that), but with the recent release of the new Jump special, I decided to at least document that, before I put it off and put it off and it was taken off of Jumpland and I had to buy it on DVD to do any sort of write-up. Here's the link, it's at the very bottom of the page if you're interested.
Some interesting things to note about the music in this special is that during Goten and Trunks's first assault against Avo and Cado, we hear the song that's appeared on every Movie 3-related BGM CD, but was never actually used in the movie, nor anywhere in the episodes. This is, essentially, the very first time it's ever been used in the series, which I think is neat.
Also, for the win, this is the only TV special which features a score that's been fully released on CD in some shape or another! That's right - not ONE piece (no Luffy jokes, please) of music in this special has been deprived of a CD release!!
Heck yeah, now that's what I'm talkin' about.

BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

Ooh, all of the tracks are on the BGM Collection. No wonder I was actually able to pick out all of 'em
. I haven't exactly seen every episode of each series, so I doubt I'd be able to recognize each song otherwise without that BGM Collection. Awesome purchase and awesome guide. (adds to his delicious)
