Well, the thread title certainly begs to differ, as does the initial post.SSj Kaboom wrote:I think just about everyone here is completely aware that it's just an unsubstantiated rumor. The thread is mostly speculation, and there's nothing wrong with that.
DB Episodes 1-13. 2010. Gonna buy them?

Even the first post had the word "supposedly" in bold. We know, but we're talking about it anyway.

I don't know why FUNimation would re-release all of DBZ, the movies, and all of GT unless their DB release would soon follow. A bit weird if you ask me. They are releasing Z, GT, and the movies simultaneously. Would be weird if the Dragon Ball Season sets came out years from after Z, GT, and the movies finished. But whatever. I know lots of people don't have them on DVD and I hope they do get the rights to the first 13 episodes soon because it really is unfair to fans.
With that being said, who knows when they'll get the rights to the first 13 episodes? Or they could have an Australian release of the Season Sets :-p

You can discuss the rumor in this topicDark Vegeta-Sama wrote:Well, the thread title certainly begs to differ, as does the initial post.SSj Kaboom wrote:I think just about everyone here is completely aware that it's just an unsubstantiated rumor. Dragon Ball didn't have single DVD releases with only three episodes per disc like Z and GT did. Dragon Ball had its episodes released as "sagas." DBZ was also not available entirely on DVD until now. GT was mainly split between "regular" episodes and "lost" episodes. FUNi resolved both of these issues by releasing box sets.TheGreatness25 wrote:I don't know why FUNimation would re-release all of DBZ, the movies, and all of GT unless their DB release would soon follow. Some of you know that the sets I ordered came with two Saga of Goku Disc 1's rather than disc 1 and 2, I asked for a replacement disc and today I got a card in the mail, telling me to pay Custom Charges, £20.
I don't have money for that!
What the fuck is wrong with them? It's was their fault for sending me something with the second disc missing.
And I have a week to pay it, otherwise they send it back.

Tell them that you refuse to pay for their mistake, Sanity are absolute motherfuckers and I encourage anyone looking to import the DB sets to go directly through Madman, Sanity are one of the worst retailers in the country, more often than not they sell above RRP, just because they expect people to buy it from them. The Time Traveller wrote:Some of you know that the sets I ordered came with two Saga of Goku Disc 1's rather than disc 1 and 2, I asked for a replacement disc and today I got a card in the mail, telling me to pay Custom Charges, £20.

Well, back in 1995... FUNimation was basically nothing. Nothing at all. A crap company with crap licenses and no ability to distribute anything. I know it's hard to imagine in this day and age, but it's true.Victator Supreme wrote:Why did Funimation ever agree to such a bad deal?
