Hm, here's hoping this is just a cheap placeholder version. If the actual release has that in the background, I think I'll fall over laughing in the aisle at Best Buy.

At least they actually put a character that's relevant to the DVD as the main cover model.

I expected this would be the cover, but where did you find this, it kind of looks like someone photoshop Broli onto the tv specials double feature (judging by the backround), of course it could just as easily be another funimation fuck up (HD-DVD Cooler anyone?).

Yeah, I expected a triple feature. It makes sense, really--why else would they have put the last double feature out of order?

That said, I'm also rather perplexed at the inclusion of Future Gohan and Bardock. I mean, it's not like the specials are featured on this DVD or anything... are they? o_O

It's obviously just a placeholder. That's the same background the TV Special tin had. I'm positive it'll be revised. Besides, this hasn't even been announced yet. We usually get coverart after solicitations, so I'm sure this is just a placeholder until then.

Walmart has the release date on 03/31/2009. I wonder if that means Season 9 will be released the same day, or if it will come out with movies 12&13 (I'm guessing mid-May).

I'm guessing this is wrong. Seriously though, Wal-Mart gets more things wrong then they get right. At least the idea of Broly being on the front cover is good and it's not King Cold or something.

What's the problem here? Decent looking font for the movie titles, a character relevant to the movies on the cover... Are we complaining about two shadowed obscure figures in the background some people won't even notice?
