Am I the only one that thinks the fight scenes in Power Rangers are actually kinda cool. I happened to see an episode from one of the more recent series when I was running at my gym, and fights looked crazy.

You're not the only one. The choreography in the recent titles of Power Rangers have some amazing action choreography. Can't say much for the acting performances, and forced execution in story though.

After I showed the trailer to a few random people I know I think what's going to hurt this movie more than the fact that Bulma doesn't have blue hair, Roshi not being older and bald, and Goku being all "apathetic" towards everything is the fact that Vegeta isn't in it and the lack of "Super Saiyans". I showed my younger cousin the trailer and he was like "Is Vegeta going to be in it? Will Goku turn Super Saiyan?" and I said "No. It's Dragon Ball not Dragon Ball Z" and goes "This movie is gonna suck! How can you have a Dragon Ball movie without Super Saiyans and Vegeta!" I don't know I think that is whats gonna turn the average person off the most to this movie.

Yeah, unfortunately, but this stresses even more why they shouldn't fuck with Vegeta's character at all, like making him a woman or something, cause people will literally go insane. You think making Goku an "emo" whether or not he is or isn't got bad response, the shit storm from Vegeta fans will be ten fold.

EXACTLY! THIS has been the no.1 complaint. I swear, I want to slap these people. They aren't fans of what it's based on, so they shouldn't complain!

If I ever have kids, I am going to force them to watch DB first, cause DB is awesome. I used to be like that kid, "Wow DBZ is the AWESOME DB IS the GAY!" But then I actually watched Dragonball and I love it. I really love the evolution of the characters and there fighting abilities, it's cool to see not everyone using energy blasts and flying, yet still keeping up. Plus the comedy is awesome.

Yup. One of my friends was like "Wait...Why is Piccolo the bad guy? They completely changed the story from Dragon Ball Z!" I think Fox might have been better off skipping on to Z (like we all know they wanted to) but we'll see.

I don't know if anyone actually read my post, but I said, and am pretty sure but I don't know for a fact, that the whole "OMG Rubber Muscles" was used simply to portray two things,
A. it accentuates that he is strong, and B. James Marsters is not a big guy, so they had to make him appear muscular.

Imagine this, would you prefer if it was just Scrawny James Marsters in a loose fitting Purple Gi, would that have been better? I think not.

You have admit that some characters had to be cut, Dragonball's cast is amazing large, but who knows maybe we will get some cameos or Freeza foreshadowing.

I remember hearing a while ago, that there is supposed to be some foreshadowing of Raditz and Vegeta, but no real confirmation was ever made, it was just a rumor from what I can tell.
