Were any of you guys members over at EX's various other forums? Animation Insider, or Tenkai? I was over at Animation Insider with the same name. Tenkai was always too weird.

I was a member for only about 2 1/2 months at Anime Insider before EX moved here. I do remember you there vaguely Sun, as well as one or two other names. The only other people on here that I remember talking to are EX and Julian, as well as Liam. I'm glad EX left there though. Some of the Mods really had an arrogant and bad attitude.

It was supposed to be the Daizenshuu EX forum, but it just turned into another generic DB forum with the same kids murdering the English language as they talked about who was the 00b3r s+rpng35t and such.Deus ex Machina wrote:I was a member (briefly) at his last forum, the name escapes me at the moment. So yeah, we left.

I don't know to be honest.
I remember getting on a Vegetto's bad side but "EX" doesn't seem to be the ringing any bells for the end of the name, nor does it strike me as how EX would act. Anyhoo, because of how the putz acted I left said forum shortly after joining. The only other thing I remember was that it was the forum of a big site back in the day.

Ah, yes, The Return of the Joker. I loved that movie.
Seriously, next to Tim Burton's first flick, that was my favorite Batman movie. What is really odd is that I hated the Beyond series, but I thought the movie was really good. Mark Hamill gave a spectacular performance as the Joker (which was probably his FAREWELL performance, considering the Joker died [again] and Beyond is off the air anyway).

Well, who plays the Joker in the new Batman? He might be having a return sooner than you think.johnboy1 wrote:Ah, yes, The Return of the Joker. I loved that movie.

But yeah, that do be a good movie.
EDIT: Kevin Michael Richardson .... The Joker (2004-) (voice)
Never mind, it was wishful thinking.
Kevin Michael Richardson?! He played Thadeus in the Animatrix and was also the voice of Deus Ex Machina in the Matrix Revolutions.
I'm sorry, but I can't imagine him sounding like the Joker (I haven't seen the new one). He has a big, deep, burly man [ha ha] voice. Mark Hamill was perfect because he always struck me as a squirly little nut [even in Star Wars].

Well, when you see their new Joker you might understand why they used that voice somewhat.johnboy1 wrote:Kevin Michael Richardson?! He played Thadeus in the Animatrix and was also the voice of Deus Ex Machina in the Matrix Revolutions.

My brother saw it on the action figure aisle and labeled it "Ay Carumba Joker."
Er, Hamill has voiced the Joker several times on Justice League since then, and will no doubt continue to do so as long as they keep making that show.johnboy1 wrote: Mark Hamill gave a spectacular performance as the Joker (which was probably his FAREWELL performance, considering the Joker died [again] and Beyond is off the air anyway).

But sometimes I don't love Justice League.
I think so. Anywho, yes, the Deus (as the W Bros. called it) was the extremely threatening machine that confronted Neo near the end. Okay, here's what I don't get: Neo has the power to emit some sort of biological EMP-type thing (basically Ki with a new twist), so he could have easily killed the Deus right then and there. The Deus probably knows this, and ALSO knows that he needs Neo to beat Smith (my favorite villain of all time). So, when Neo first offers his services to the machines, what does the Deus say?*PINHEAD* wrote:Is Deus secretly controlling us with those hentai avatars...?
After saying this, the sentinals that make up his face disperse and circle threateningly around Neo, ready to slice him to bits.Deus Ex Machina wrote:WE DON'T NEED YOU! WE NEED NOTHING!
So, recap: The Deus has just told off as well as threatened someone that he not only needs desperately, but that could easily kill him and decapitate the entire machine empire (as if Smith wouldn't do that eventually anyway).
To a strong man, the end justifies the means. To a stronger man, the means justify the end.
