Dragon Ball Origins - $20 at GameStop/EB Games

Post by Tsukento » Tue Dec 16, 2008 2:26 am

Noticed this just a little bit ago. Seems like Dragon Ball Origins dropped to a nice $20 price tag over at GameStop.

It's not part of any sale, so it seems like a legit price drop on their behalf to make more room for more DS games coming out. I'd say BUY IT since $20 is quite a nice price for the game.

Oh SNAP.

I know I already just got Chrono Trigger a couple days ago, but this is MINE.

Is there any censorship in the US release of this game? That will be the deciding factor on my purchase.

The only change is the opening (which was Makafushigi Adventure). Surprisingly, no censorship.

Other than the dialogue, you mean.

I might grab it just so I can play it, but I still plan on getting the Japanese release. I need to work on my reading skills, anyway.

Why did the price drop!? Is the game not selling?

I don't have a copy yet... Well, in my hands. There's no telling what's underneath that christmas wrapping.

It doesn't have Vegeta in it.

Dang! If I didn't already ask for this as a Christmas gift, I'd be all over that sucker.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

I'm still glad I have my Japanese version, but I need to get Chrono Trigger. I think I'll get the English version, but does anyone suggest the Japanese?

You mean Chrono Trigger? Well, from what I hear, the Japanese version of the new DS release does have an English-language option for some reason. So if you really want the Japanese, import, I guess.

I have the Japanese version. The American version is the same game. Literally. Popping in the Japanese version into an American DS brings up the game in English.

I bought it the other day with a $50 gift card. I'm struggling to beat Ox King now

I'm trying to decide if I should buy Chrono Trigger or Sonic Chronicles next :o
