Dragonball DS - General discussion
OK, from the point of throwing the box into the right-hand hole:
Leave the room and go into the adjacent room to defeat the boxer and shooter combo. Destroy the pteranadon statue and go through the elevator just to the north. Work your way through the halls, avoiding the trap-door pits. Keep on going, past the fenced-in button the box is landing on. Destroy another pteranadon statue and the two boxes there (this is the area you were talking about, yes?).
Go west, around more trap-door pits, and hit the switch on the upper-left corner. Go through the door that just opened. Follow the corridor south, then east. The first passageway north leads to another fenced-in button. Ignore, obviously, and continue east briefly, then take the south passageway. Defeat the two shooter enemies. Go through the elevator to the west.
Go north to a room full of spikes and moving platforms. Is all this new?

Nope, I've done all of this before, already. I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm missing.Thanos6 wrote:OK, from the point of throwing the box into the right-hand hole:

EDIT: ARGH, I *finally* found the last damn switch to just stand on and light that thing up.

Well, just picked up the game on Saturday. I also saw LoGII, but oh so stupidly didn't pick it up. I have a tendency to not buy stuff even though chances are I'll never see it again any time soon.
Anyways, I'm playing through the game and got up until the 3-1 when Goku and Bulma have to walk around the desert (for gas, from what I remember). You pretty much just walk around the desert, with Bulma occasionally saying that they need some kind of marker so they won't be as lost. Help?
EDIT: Crap, nevermind. I didn't know all you had to do was follow the cactuses er um... cacti. I tjust seemed so simple for that to be the solution.

I should pick up Legacy of Goku 2 as well. It's Christmas soon, I may pick it up.

Okay, I got to episode 3-3 without that many problems when I got stuck at some kind of metal wall. Backtracking a bit, I noticed that there were at least two chests that I haven't opened yet, which I'm guessing contain what I need to get past that wall.
The problem is that both chests are on a platform that I can't jump to. Both platforms are similar in that they have some kind of beehive looking thing on it as well as the area where I'm assuming you have to make the jump from. I thought that maybe the nearby porcupines served some kind of connection to the beehive things, but I dunno.

Oh, are you in the area with the streams of sand and stuff? I'm a bit confused as to where you are. If you tell me, I'll replay the stage to help you out.DaemonCorps wrote:Okay, I got to episode 3-3 without that many problems when I got stuck at some kind of metal wall. Backtracking, the beehive things are in the first and second areas/maps of that episode. It's before you enter the area with the streams of sand. Checking back at past episodes, it looks like there was also the same situation (big gap that can't be jumped with the beehive things on both sides of the gap) in an earlier episode. Maybe I have to learn a new move first?
That reminds me... you know those purple orbs that you sometimes get when you kill an enemy? The help section says that you can do something along the lines of "purchasing" new moves in exchange for these orb points. Is this something that I can only do later, because from the looks of things, the only thing I can do from the main menu is purchase health items and the like.
... but yeah, kinda getting off-track. The main thing I'm stuck at is that metal wall thing. It's just three square metal blocks blocking my path. I'm assuming I have to do something about those beehive things to get something from the chest that'll remove those metal blocks...?

In the midst of playing an episode, you'll have the opportunity to access a menu, of which consists of Items Goku Bulma and System.DaemonCorps wrote:

To upgrade your current skills setlist for Goku, simply click on the Goku avatar once. Afterwards take a look at the bottom left-hand corner, you will see skills labeled there. Give it a click, and scroll through your current list of melee, and Nyoibo/Power Pole skills.
By clicking on any of the listed skills, the top screen of your DS will display the amount of 'purple orbs' points needed in order to exchange for a higher level upgrade for the select skill.

What exactly do you need help on? It's pretty straightforward. I haven't played this game since I've completed it a few weeks ago, but from what I remember here's how it goes:jaywonder wrote:has anybody beaten the Ox King yet?
First of all, remember to upgrade your combo, and your punch techniques before proceeding. Whenever Ox-King jumps into the air and makes that whistling sound as he drops, hop onto the next platform (using the power pole attaching method) to avoid the damage emitted from his landing. Whenever he is stable on the ground, creep up behind him and attack away.
You've got to use the Nyoibo/Power Pole sweep, or thrust technique in the direction of the mirror whilst standing upon the moving sand. It takes a bit of practice, and timing unfortunately.SHINOBI-03 wrote:Anybody was able to beat episode 3-3?

You have to use the shove technique on the car. Tap Goku then tap the car quickly. He'll knock it over and you can beat the crap out of the car while it's down. Then when the rabbit comes out, use the twirly powerpole technique to knock the bombs back at him.jaywonder wrote:I'm stuck now trying to beat Master Carrot
