Oh my GOD... I remember those DBZ Walkie Talkies! I used to have a pair of Goku and Vegeta from Toys R Us when I was 7, but then I went on a trip to India with my mom... and she left them there, because we couldn't stuff any more things in our luggage bags. Then in 2007, my mom left my old DBZ shirts in India, including my first ever DBZ shirt! I was literally bawling my eyes out. I thought it was still there, but then I got a phone call from my aunt saying that some stupid housewife stole them. I was SO pissed.
Anyway, I envy your collection, Kendamu.

eBay. I searched under dragonball cosplay and found the Scouter, Dragonballs, Dragon Radar, Senzu Jar (with soy beans or something), and Capsule with Capsule case all separately. Nowadays you can probably also find a Kame dogi, a Senzu bag (which I just bought), and electronic Souters.Snail wrote:Where did you say you got these from? I is enviouss
The phone charms and Boo figure came from a Japanese friend of mine.
The non-Japanese DVDs for the episodes I have aren't horrible. There's always the much cheaper Madman sets from Australia and those sets from Hong Kong (the non-bootleg ones). Thing is I have no clue what the picture quality is like on the Hong Kong DVDs.omegacwa wrote:Kendamu, I don't know why, but I am extremely jealous of those DBox singles. Maybe because I only own American dvds.

Well, a normal 50/50 lightweight adult dogi (around size 4 or 5) usually runs between $35 and $50. Strong enough to not be a child's costume, but some good strong Judo throws will make it rip away just like the TV show!omegacwa wrote:All the Goku Cosplay outfits I have seen are terrible and look fake. They don't look like a real Gi. I want to see an accurate Kame Gi made from good materials that doesn't look like a kids halloween costume.
A really high-quality Super Heavyweight dogi will run you between $90 and $140 and, as long as it's taken care of, it will last you forever and a day. The only thing you'll have to worry about is color fading. But, if you're gonna be the Ryu type, rips and stains shouldn't really bother you much.
Of course, the material used to make them should be a lot cheaper and you'll have a wider variety of colors (finding an orange dogi is next to impossible). You just need to find someone good at cosplay to make the dogi for you. Of course, after that, you've got weighted clothing to worry about which should take another giant chunk of your money.

The most current additions to my Dragonball collection is Season 7 Remasatered, the two Dragonball Z "Ultimate Figure series" sets that have been released by Bandai, without Baby Vegeta.
I also have Volume 1 of the VizBig edition of DBZ.

Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!
