Since when did VIZ releace Daizenshuu's in the states, you guys do know that the VIZ bigs are almost like the Kanzenban releaces they don't equivilate to what Daizenshuu's are... sure they have coloured pages so I suppose that's easy to get confused about ;?
VIZ release.

Make it stop. Please make it stop.

I predict Blu-ray releases, Burst Limit 2, possibly the Jump Special and absolutely nothing on the DragonBall front in terms of episodes 1-13.

-Dragonball movie will definitely NOT be a hit, and will probably be crushed by Hannah Montana and Disney's ability to milk money from hormonally instable tweens. However, it will do alright, and I will still enjoy it enough to go see the inevitable sequel.

-FUNimation will announce and/or release the dub of the new Jump Special. The Playdia footage, however, will still be MIA.

-They will also release some kind of information about Blu-Ray season sets.

-Burst Limit 2 will definitely be announced and possibly released. Sparking! 4 may be announced, but don't hold your breath too long.

-Dragonball Online will finnally be released in Korea, and we will find out if it's coming to the states or not.

-Another Dragonball Special will be announced.

-Since the last Dr. Slump books are coming out in January (this coming Tuesday!) and in May, I predict no other Toriyama works by VIZ until November or December, or even January of next year. That next book will most likely be Kajika, Toki-Mecha, or Neko Majin.

-Daizenshuu 2 will come out some time well after May.

-Nothing new on FUNi's part aside from Z sets and GT; we'll only get confirmation of the new special ones they run out of Z and GT sets.

-The live action trilogy will end up being the one movie thanks to being a bomb. Perhaps the sequels will be low budget direct-to-DVDs.

It already has leaked... ON WIKIPEDIA LAWL!

But yeah...

I'd want the new special to come out along with the OVA, and Daizenshuu #2 and onwards to be announced. They do loads for shitty SJ Series, but for the one that got them the most sales in Japan, zilch. (I've checked my sources, from 1984 Shonen Jump started selling even better than before, and after 1995, it went down. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!)

Seriously?!
That is some epic trivia.

I wonder if Mr. Toriyama's former Jump associates ever ask him to do any new DB-related work for the magazine.

Who knows? The site I got that from a while ago was made by someone who I don't think is a DB fan so it's probably not bullshit. The page had some comments from Naruto fans too saying stuff like Dragon Ball Z isn't any good, why would it make something sell well, or that it must be because everyone started downloading everything in 1995... Fucking Narutards...

The heavens shall tremble, somehow Sailormoon will be released by Toei... Whoops wrong forum.
NeptuneKai wrote: New Dragonball games for the PSP.
I like the sound of this, the movie game is not near enough.

I will be a bit more optimistic, and say DragonBall Evolutions will garner near $400 - $500 Million Worldwide. When the economy is in the dump, movies apparently do a lot better.

While many critics will lambast the movie for being a generic popcorn action flick, Ebert will like it, with him saying something a kin to "a servicable movie that provides plenty of fun".

Toei will tease us with the thought of more DragonBall specials.

But in actuality, Toei announces a remake anniversary series for the series 25th.

DragonBall Online won't be released in North America in 2009. But Phil Harrison's upcomming vision for Atari has DBO in it.

A Jump game is announced for PSP to combat the Shonen Sunday one being released on PSP. Neither will be released in North America.

Shin Budokai 3 is announced via a listing on a website like GameStop.com or something.

Tenkaichi 4 is released or atleast announced exclusively for Wii.

DragonBall DS 2 is announced.

Another JUMP game is announced on DS.

Burst Limit 2 is announced and/or released.

DBZ Story is released in all three major markets.

FUNimation will release the One Piece and DB specials in a double feature. Why One Piece and DB double features? Because the fanbases are similiar (look at all the DragonBall X One Piece stuff), and they are too short to deserve a single with the way FUNimation is currently. The special will also be put up on their website, and be the only full piece of DragonBall anime on their site.

FUNimation will announce either the season sets on Blu-Ray, or the Season Sets in fullscreen possibly also on Blu-Ray.

Viz will publish more books for DB Evolution.

Viz will bring over a Neko Majin graphic novel.

Viz will release more Daizenshuus.

My memories of the Ocean/ Blue Water dubs of DB/Z/GT will fade even more.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

-The announcement of Dragonball Z Season Sets on Blu-ray a couple months after the completion of the DVD sets.

-Burst Limit 2 announced and released going through Buu Saga and movie characters and scenarios only. GT and DB stuff will be saved for an eventual Burst Limit 3.

-No word on Dragonball episodes 1-13/Movie 1.

-A slightly re-worked version of Daizenshuu 2 released under the Shonen Jump Profiles line.

-"Dragonball Evolution" will be overshadowed by the "Hannah Montana Movie" domestically but will dominate in other countries until "X-men Origins: Wolverine" is released.

Moar games to the NDS!! LAWL!

Seriously, why is it so bad to release the games to the obviously superior portable console? Who doesn't want it on a lightweight console (yes, lightweight in terms of weight) with a perfect battery time, nice good graphics and the super-smart touch screen that makes the gaming experience ten times better?
(And it isn't that expensive either, why not buy it if you want to play Dragonball games).
Face it, you wish you had bought the NDS, just waited a while, to see what it had to offer.

/End of insanely well-written post, with absolute and undeniable truths.

And how does your "shut up" keep it from being a flame war? Seriously, dude. Are you being serious in your seriousness?
And what is "/v/", never heard of it? Is it a forum, or an Internet fad? Or something eatable?
And note the "devil smiley" in the end of the post. Not the best way to start a flame war, is it? If I'm wrong, tell me how it can be?
Note my tone in the post, can it really be taken seriously? I wouldn't take such a post seriously, or would I?
Can you help me out here, Rory? What am I doing wrong? :( *Sob?*

Lots of new merchandise and some sort of 25th anniversary thingy.
Hopefully a Burst Limit 2.

FUNimation will also probably license and put out the DB special and Mike will get a new avatar...

Probably not on that last one...

Personally, I hope that Sweden gets a bit more serious with the Dragonball merchandise. It's been poor with that for several years.
If it wasn't for the manga pockets that still were on the shelves, and some of the games being released, I would have thought that Dragonball was completely dead in Sweden.
1) Predictions for the Swedish market: Release of videogames, and if we are lucky, maybe a re-relase of the manga, or release of one of the movies.

2) Predictions for the Live Action Movie: There will be a hype in the beginning, and merchandise will probably be sold, and then people watch the movie, and it get's different kinds of critisizm. Some people love it, some hate it. Not a great success as Fox thought, but not bad either.

3) New Tenkaichi games, and more follow-ups to the other new games. Games, games, games. They sell, so why not? New concept games and old concepts games recycled.
DBO in every home! Just wishing...

4) Like the above poster, maybe a new animated special. Hopefully there is an idea to redraw the Dragonball anime digitally. Quite unthinkable, but not impossible. No more triangle crap.

5) Daizenshuu no. 2 released by Viz.
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

Will those bricks be all white bricks?
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.
