"Dragon FIIIIISSSSSSST!"

Priceless.

Question: The VA for Hercule, what exactly does he say?
It's party time, Ginyu style!

Mr. Satan: You're going toe-to-toe with the champion of the world big guy!

I'm guessing that's going to be the opening line for Mr. Satan. Although Babidi's "This guy could be even stronger than Majin Boo!" has me wondering...

I can't wait to see how everything comes together for this game. I just have the feeling that it's going to be awesome. ^^ Anyway, I found an image that's... interesting. It's Goku Vs. 3rd Form Frieza but that's not the interesting part. Notice the little blocks on the tops of the life bars? Those represent how many bars you have. Notice how many Goku has? Now, the question is, does he have seven bars because it's Dragon Universe or because it's a duel and it was set that way?

<Kaboom> Neither does Rita

Found by SS Kakarot, also a member here. [but posted on our Dutch übertopic on DBZ games :P]

See shots of the opening! [Burori vs. Gojita] The cool menu art! A Dragon Universe shot! And a crashed RRA plane.

Very cool stuf =D

This game is obviously going to have another GORGEOUS opening o.o;;

Yeah, the menu art is really a nice touch. I just hope Pan isn't restricted to being a peice of art and is an actual character. :? But atleast Videl is still there.

New animated opening... Coo', coo'.
But dammit, the capsule system appears to be the same! But... But Dimps said... Argh!
Ah, the Ultimates are still there, I was worried some of the rumors about Dimps removing them from the game to make it more dynamic were true.
There is this one screen with Cell doing these Frieza laser thingies. The hit count seems to be too high for an Ultimate, so it could be part of a Dragon Lash combo. So maybe there will be individual moves for Dragon Lash after all, in the movies it seemed that the combos were the same for all characters.
Trunks finally can use his sword for normal moves, and they added the "cape included" costume for Piccolo. I've also seen a "early DBZ" Vegeta costume, I hope it's selectable. And they got the color for Trunks' jakcet right! Hell, maybe we'll even see "battle damaged" costume for Goku?
Dragon Universe looks nice, and altrough I doubt it'll be as fun as Budokai 1 Story Mode, at least it seems better than that "Cardboard Cutout Battle System" from B2.
Damn, no other Ginyu Force members on Character Select screen... Oh well, there's always Budokai 4...

Now I only hope they'll give every fighter at least one Ultimate... By the way, I heard that all the characters from B1 will be present, I wonder how Zarbon's transformation will look with all these graphical changes.
It's party time, Ginyu style!

I wouldn't count on seeing Zarbon or Dodoria, despite what Dimps has said. Not that I really care, I don't see any reason for Dodoria to be in the game since he had no memorable techniques, or parts in the story.

amazing that a Spanish version is already ready to be out!! I still haven't seen any Japanese screenshots. These screencaps are great, I love the new art done for the game, and I hope the intro will beat Budokai 2's! I can't wait to hear the new song also! >_< Too bad I have to break tradition and not get Budokai 3 on it's first day... Since I took 2 weeks off work because of an operation, I'm aching financially

Exclusive Screencapture Gallery from Dragonball Z: Budokai 3
With the review version in our hands, we offer you 60 new and fresh images!

By: Nacho Ortiz

This week Atari sent us the Review version of one of this Christmas season's most important games. We've already tried out the final version of Dragonball Z: Budokai 3, and after our first rounds, we couldn't be more satisfied, because even though the saga's playability is still intact, most of the defects that brought it down have been taken out.

More possibility of espectacular combos, much like the ones in the series, transformations into the distinct Saiyan levels, a maximum gathering of characters from the whole series plus those that appear in the most famous OVA's like Broli and Cooler and a story mode that takes out the much criticized board game-style for one in the lines of Final Fantasy with a map and radar.

The intro scene shows, in a few minutes of animation in the show's classic style, the most known enemies that we'll fight, the main characters in all their transformations as well as the secondary characters that also appear in the game.

Now we leave you with a selection of the best images we captured yesterday afternoon, we remind you that you can find all the captures in the "Images" section of Dragonball Z: Budokai 3.
Follow the link in the last sentence in the page!

So... that's the final Dragon of GT, all right. :D I must say that I find it nifty that they have just about everyone watching the battles (and all of the good guys riding along in the car~!)

I do wonder, though... I know we'll be seeing Freeza, Cell, Buu, and (most likely) the final Dragon. Am I the only hoping Bebi makes it in, though? He's my favorite villain of GT (beyond the Bonpara Bros, who aren't very 'villainous') and he is technically the reason Goku attains the SSj4 form. :p

I noticed that just a few hours ago; but this time they screwed up, they unintentionally showed off more fighters than before via the character select roster. The entire list is now:

Goku
Yamcha
Kuririn
Tenshinhan
Piccolo
3 Gohans (young, teen, adult)
Raditz
Nappa
Vegeta
Reccoome
Ginyu
Freeza (all forms)
Future Trunks
Cell (First 3 forms)
Videl
Great Saiyaman
Kid Trunks
Goten
Dabura
Fat Boo
Super Boo
Kid Boo
Broli
Coola
Bardock

Gotenks
Vegetto
Gogeta

Uncofirmed characters (but heavily expected):
Mr. Satan
Oob
Yi Xing Long

I doubt Bebi will make it, only because they seem to be putting in as few GT characters as possible. Not a bad decision, in my opinion (it may have been the only thing Final Bout got right). I don't care if they put Pan in, since she really has nothing interesting to offer in terms of gameplay experience since she, well, has no real special attacks except for the... uh... "Wait-for-Goku-to-handle-it-attack".

And really, that's nothing special in GT.

YES! They just keep updating! It's great! I wonder what's next?

But it seems to me that they want to focus more on the movie characters and not GT, which is a shame... I liked GT, granted it had many flaws but I still enjoyed it.
