Gai-sensei was from the track before us, but we did the compositing with him moving down on our title screen.

Excellent job on those vids Mike( and Meri).

Nothing but perfection from the Street Fighter vid, that was amazing.

Enter the Dragon DDR vid was creative, and I gotta say there was nice touch in that thing. Sweet DDR neatness.

Sex Lies and Roses just happened to introduce me to Midtown....since I had never really heard that before...new favourite song, new favourite group.

Yeah...I'm happy to see also that people are excited about DOOMRIDER. that's all I ever wanted for it (aside from the humongo goal list). I can't wait for Jeff to start/finish his track :D
Project DOOMRIDER: It's coming (very slowly)

I would also like to point out that Meri could've done a decent job of cutting and you put an glow around the body to cover up. So, we could never know whether she cut good or not.

Umm... OK, I'm gonna be a little defensive, so forgive me.

The cut-out is flawless done with the pen tool frame-for-frame in Photoshop, there's motion-blur put on the cut-out, and there is glow.

What else you're expecting is far beyond me ^^.

I'm not sure if you're accusing Mike of "covering" up my supposed shoody cut-out job or not, so I'll just explain what I did.

As Mike said, all the cut-outs were done frame-by-frame using the pen tool in Photoshop. I then imported the scene into AfterEffects, where I applied frame blending, and an outer glow to the layer for added effect. Any effect in the video was made by me, and no tampering or sabatoging was done by Mike (it IS a collaborative work, after all).

Please note that the episode in question is from *1989*. Footage that old is bloody hard to work with. Considering how bad the original source footage looks, we had to clean up the video considerable. For more info, see the cleaning-up AVS script we used which is posted in the video description.

I also need to mention in the original version of this scene, Goku is moving *THREE TIMES AS FAST*, to the point where he looks *ridiculous*. I had to slow down this sequence in order for people to actually SEE what he's doing.

In the end, I was going for a flowly, somewhat blended look for this scene.

If you're that curious, I can encode an MPEG of how the scene looks with no AfterEffects use.

I quoted myself so you can get a better understanding from what I said.

We may never know wheather you cut good or not because you put an glow around it. That's all I'm saying. =D

Since you bothered to quote it again:

"Whether she cut it well or not" sounds ten million times better and may even be gramatically correct.
