Maybe you guys should make more music videos...
DragonBall Z Abridged
The "Make A Man Out Of You" AMV is the most viewed (per time since release date) non-episode video you guys have made. Even the "Halloween Special" which has been out for 2 more months and has been advertised on both the Daizenshuu EX and Kanzentai main pages does not have as many views.

Does that count views from non-original viewers? Like repeat viewings? Because I know a 3 and a half-minute music video, for me, has been something that is far more easily rewatched than an episode. Also, its heavy music focus lets me set it to play and then do other stuff in another tab.SSj_Rambo wrote:The "Make A Man Out Of You" AMV is the most viewed (per time since release date) non-episode video you guys have made. The way YouTube (or Google) has the view counter set up, I'm pretty sure it counts one view every time the page is visited or refreshed. So it doesn't count a view when you just buffer back to the beginning of the video, but it does count repeat visitors.Super Ghost Kamikaze wrote:Does that count views from non-original viewers? That's what I meant. I was just asking if they did that per visit, or for each unique visitor. Unique visitors would be a bit more telling, because a music video is more rewatchable.SSj_Rambo wrote:The way YouTube (or Google) has the view counter set up, I'm pretty sure it counts one view every time the page is visited or refreshed. Still, the music video wouldn't get any hits without the Abridged Series attached to it.
...well, it might. But the built-in fanbase really doesn't hurt at all.
Nappa continues to be priceless. I really hope you guys keep him alive in Vegeta's subconcious or something.
"...and this is Vegeta, he was a prison-"
"SHUT UP NAPPA!"
"...b****."
The best part is how the camera closes in on him when he says it.

Er, I think it just means "Nappa is going to die."Chuquita wrote:Is it strange to suspect that the "epic foreshadowing" in episode 7 means that Nappa's going to somehow, in some form, continue to exist and irritate Vegeta after his death at Vegeta's hands?
Or is that just wishful thinking?
(I'll miss you, Abridged Nappa!)
"Some day you're going to die, and then you'll be out of my hair forever."
EPIC FORESHADOWING, because it's going to happen.

Ahh. Understandable.
I hope there's another character later on in the series that can fill the hole of "Hey Vegeta!" Nappa's going to leave behind.
Or try to fill the hole.
It'll be a pretty big hole.
And I'm sure Nappa's death in Abridged will be epic. X3

I was just going threw one of our old threads, and found some epic foreshadowing to TFS's impressions of Mr. Popo:

Seems pretty spot on. Was this in any way an inspiration for the character?Snail wrote:Popo = DB-verse's Grudge lady.Rocketman wrote:Popo is always watching.Chuquita wrote: OMG, I just noticed; what is that peeking out from under the kotatsu?!They look like Mr. Popo eyes.
Yeah, it will be.Chuquita wrote: I hope there's another character later on in the series that can fill the hole of "Hey Vegeta!" Nappa's going to leave behind.

But then again, there's Goku to annoy Vegeta... Kuririn to laugh about... Piccolo to insult... I think, they can fill the hole pretty well ^^

True. I'm very curious to know how they're going to go about the dynamics between Goku and Vegeta.
Also Freeza. I'm REALLY curious to know how TeamFourStar's Freeza will sound.
On hiatus.
You know what I'd like to see TeamFourStar do? And I'm not sure how many people will be with me on this one, but I really want to hear how they sound (especially MasakoX as Goku) in a serious situation. This is kind of stemming from my thoughts on the thread elsewhere about Sean Schemmel as Goku (let's not get into that here, please), but one thing I've noticed is that we've (or at least I've) never heard the full range of MasakoX and the rest's voices for their characters. We've heard MasakoX do the silly, naive Goku in the comedy scenes, but we've never heard him portray the more intense, serious Goku in the more dramatic or action scenes (for example, the first Super Saiyan transformation). I'd really like to hear what he sounds like there.
So I would love love LOOOOVE to see TFS dub (using the Japanese script, or their variation of. No Funimation or Ocean scripts) some serious scenes throughout the series. Probably just from the Saiyan Saga since I doubt they've cast a voice for Frieza yet (let alone Cell or Buu), but it would be cool to see the Kaioken x20 Kamehameha Wave against Frieza or the first Super Saiyan transformation. Or to keep it in the current story arc, maybe Goku's anger toward Nappa, Vegeta explaining to Goku what Saiyans do with their babies after they're born (just before the fight), or the Kamehameha/Galick Gun battle.
Who else would like to see this, huh?

I've given thought to the exact same thing, and I'd love to hear it too.Joey Batz wrote:<Snip

Is it bad that I remember Lanipator voices Vegeta based on that Q&A video where Nappa pronounces it "Lani-pa-tor".
*Is so excited there's a guy voicing Freeza*. X3
I can't wait!
*EDIT: OMG, I just checked TeamFourStar's profile page; Nappa's VA voices Captain Ginyu!!*
I, I can't wait til Captain Ginyu arrives. X3
