Gohan: Soon after their marriage, Goku gets some "Intimacy 101" courses from Chi-Chi. Nine months later, he gets his report card.

Trunks: Vegeta had just become a Super Saiyan, and was in a good mood. Bulma was being herself, and was horny. Badabing.

Goten: Goku had been dead and gone at King Kai's for a year, spent another year in space, and had been spending the last two-something training with Gohan and Piccolo. Poor Chi-Chi hadn't gotten any for three years. Eventually, I figure she would get desperate enough to just just lay down a trail of food into the bedroom...

Marron: Oh like you wouldn't if you were Kuririn.

Bra: I think this was a conspiracy on Bulma's part.

Pan: As others have suggested, she was probably the only "planned" child in the series...

Never thought of the act, but more the aftermath of Gohan's conception being similar to that scene in the movie Twins, where after Julius and Kelly Preston did it, she's under covers with a cigarette and he has a giant smile on his face. Other than that, a scene from Shin Chan where Cynthia Cranz's character is beating up her husband and yelling, "Say my name, bitch!" gave me the idea, "I think I now know how Gohan was conceived."

On the Marron subject, reminded me awhile back on another forum's caption joke thread I put up one of 18 pulling Krillin saying they were in for a night of "training" and giving an epilogue that the "training" left Krillin hospitalized in a full-body cast for 7 months and Marron was born 2 months after leaving said hospital.

I always guessed she was planned as Vegeta behaved much differently around her than his son. This could just be because she is 'daddies little princess' and so he feels the need to treat her differently - And be manipulated by her. This could also just be because Vegeta had a personality change and actually turned into a... Pretty... Nice guy. (Pauses.) Okay well he changed!

I don't think Trunks was in anyway planned, I think it was more of a...

I just figured being so far into the future that Bra could have been planned, Vegeta seems to have formed into more of a family man living and marrying Bulma. I guess there was still manipulation on Bulmas behalf. She could have stopped taking the pill as I couldn't see her trusting Vegeta with the protection... I find it hard to imagine Vegeta being the one to decide and agree with having another child. Bulma would have almost definitely made the first move...

- Unless of course it was crazy blonde Bunny Briefs! She could have switched the contraception pills! (Dum Dum Duhhhh.)

I'm pretty sure Bra(and Pan) was never meant to be anything important. Toriyama was probably just all "ending letz put sum moar kids lawl"

In the aspect of GT, I guess she could've done more than "NEW CLOTHES!!1 ^__^"

I second that. Yeah, there are plenty of 'things' around the internet that have been for years, but really...at least during the time Gohan was concieved, I can't imagine it at all. I think that since Gokou knew the chances he would die were pretty likely, and perhaps even planned on it, so he left Goten behind as a little 'something to remember me by' for Chi-Chi...er, by giving her 9 months of pregnancy with no one to look after her but a young child, and subsequently giving her another mouth to feed. ^^;

Gohan, I'm sure, was not planned. ...At least by Gokou. Hell, we know for a fact that Chi-Chi tricked him into getting married..is it really all that far-fetched to imagine that she also tricked him into bed, and into giving her a kid, without explaining to him that what they did makes babies? I think not.

Goku was just too innocent to know how babies were made, Chichi probably forced him to earn his meals... In the bedroom. Hahaha!

Well to be Frank... (And I'm not..) I personally think Gohan could have been planned, They had settled into a lovely little house and were from what I can gather married happily. - It's kind of natural to have a little sprog follow suit.
Chichi obviously let Goku name the child we see this, so he might have played a part in the decision to have Gohan?... However... Chichi is rather manipulative like Bulma, So she most likely made the first move. - Or just forgot to tell Goku just how easily children were made? After all, It's just a minor detail...

I don't think Goten was planned, Goku seemed a little surprised when he first met his second child. I also don't think Goku Son is the sort of guy to plan ahead! On the otherhand it could have been that Chichi was feeling a little broody over Bulma falling pregnant with Trunks. (Or would that not work...)

Who knows! Planned or not planned... He certainly sprouted his seed and passed on his genes.
