Little annoyed by Vegeta's comment. Coming from Krillin or Gohan would have been more appropriate instead. From Vegeta s out of context.

Yeah, it did seem a bit out of place for him. It could have just been a sarcastic joke...does Vegeta know what a joke is?

I think it was just to add emphasis that the Nail from their universe was standing right next to them and they didn't even know it...

Even in DBZ real fight, most people know they can be revived, after Freeza Saga. After all this is a tournament, we can't expect to organize an event with rules, and hope mighty proud warriors will risk their life for viewer's entertainment.
But still, this tournament permits many things that the others didn't : you can kill, you can kick in the privates parts, you can hit the opponent even when he is down and unconscious (best way to be sure he won't recovers in the 30 seconds), and the ring is merely a meeting point. No ring out.

Being able to fight with their full force, I think the challengers can make better fight than in a normal tournament, and also fight to the end. Some would forfeit instead of being killed.
And even with the resurrection, no one likes to be dead

Hmm, you have a got me there. I guess because my usual heartless nature I assumed death was the only way to have character give it there all.

The new page made me smile. Vegeta's comment about Nail and Piccolo reaction was great and Trunk's line was very cool. I'm just sadden by the fact the Trunks will lose this fight. If you go back to page 3, Cooler is alive and well. In his final form none the less. This could only mean that one of my favorite characters will surely die and that sucks.

Plus Future Trunks was never as soft hearted as someone like Goku, something he himself admitted when he fought Freeza.

That seems logical based on the evidence. He must be stronger than the Coola we know though... Goku didn't have much trouble with his transformed state after becoming a Super Saiyajin, and this Trunks should be quite a bit stronger than that, having USSJ. Either that or he pulls some dumb move and loses because of that.

Maybe Coola comes to close to his space or he gets help or he kills someone in the audience. I think he will kill someone in the audience just to show how cruel he is and that he isn't soft...

Just because Trunks isn't in those pages and Cooler is doesn't mean anything.
I mean if that was the case then all the other characters we have seen so far are dead by then as well.
I find that hard to believe.

I'm going to base my point on the story as well. True there are about 20 different realities but the writer seems to be focused on the major players (or in this case, Universes) for the comic. The Cold family from Unv. 8 is definitely one of the few major characters of interest. If there was a second Cooler from a different Universe, I think he would've been mentioned by now.

But hey, like you said we really can't be sure who wins but it does give us something to talk about.

The Cold family commented how they didn't see themselves from any of the other universes, didn't they? That's why I figured there wasn't another Coola around. But who knows?

Man if Cooler wins, I'll be so pissed. But I expect he will. You have to balance good and bad to make a great story.

Well we have no evidence that this Coola has trained or that these members of the Cold Clan can even get stronger through training. We have evidence in GT all this is possible but the author is not taking that part of the series into account. Therefore, what we need to know is where in the timeline does this Trunks come from, I know he is from an alternate universe but there are some similarities and also this is the only way to gage him power wise. Coola appeared in main continuity during the three years of training in preparation for the Artificial Humans. If this particular Trunks is at the level when he first appeared Coola is going to slaughter him but if he is at the level or above the one when he defeated Imperfect Cell then everything should be fine unless Coola got stronger or has found another transformation.

More like wishful thinking. The only way to have your wish granted on Namek is to say it using the Namekian language. Freeza didn't know that and I doubt any of the Nameks would help him out. After the whole genocide thing I'm sure that would've been pretty awkward.
