"I'm Taka!" Nappa is voiced by Takahata101Chuquita wrote:OMG, I just checked TeamFourStar's profile page; Nappa's VA voices Captain Ginyu!!*
Also the full cast list on their youtube page has the list going all the way up to Kid Buu..... who ironically will also be voiced by Takahata101.

Not according to Vic Mignogna!Masako-kun wrote:Aww thanks. ^^ I'd love to do a scene like that - I love doing power screams and other foley. We all do, it's the best part of doing DBZ.Chuquita wrote:I'd like to hear MasakoX do the original "Goku goes ssj for the first time" scene. :3

Basically, the writing process involves a Ouiji board, a bottle of scotch, three pints of goats blood, a 250 year old shaman-priest who has mastered the ways of eternal life, a virgin sacrifice, and some green tea.
Also, Taka, Lani and I all sitting around and watching Youtube versions of the episode, throwing around jokes for each scene, comparing whether or not they go against the character's 'character', conflicts with continuity, will have long lasting ramifications in the story that will effect other jokes, or are otherwise funny or not. We tend to pick a joke to end on, something that really sets up for the outro, along with proper intro jokes, then work from there.
As well, we take input from the rest of the team if they give it, openly accepting any jokes from close friends who are connected with the project if we find that they fit in with the plot. We do try and keep it in the writing team, of course, but every once in a while the other guys will give us a gem.
Which isn't to say the whole team isn't made up of great writers, but you know the saying: Too many cooks can ruin the pot. Or something like that.
Funny enough, a lot of the jokes we've come up with were conceived within the first week of the show. In fact, you could say that Episode 8 was written before Episode 4! The one episode we had the most trouble with in terms of writing was probably Episode 6 as the actual footage was hell to work with, though the jokes we had came rather easily.
Also! Episode 10?
Three.
Parter.
Also, Episode 8 will be out tonight! =D

Sweet. Though, despite the lack of outside influence usually, I'd still LOVE to see Nappa singing Dan Dan. :p
And perhaps a foaming-mouth Nappa joke?
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
There will be another opening after the Saiyan Saga. It will be a surprise! =DB wrote:I hope there are plans to edit the opening to match then-current sagas.
