I hadn't thought of that! That could really be a possibility. Trunks might win, but Coola might survive due to that. Good theory, good theory.
More like wishful thinking. The only way to have your wish granted on Namek is to say it using the Namekian language. Freeza didn't know that and I doubt any of the Nameks would help him out. After the whole genocide thing I'm sure that would've been pretty awkward.
You never know. According to string theory, almost anything is possible. Maybe that universe had a Namekian who was weak minded enough to help them.
Edit: Maybe, even, in that universe you didn't have to speak Namek to get your wish. Weird, I know, but...everyone seems to speak the same language in the Dragonverse anyway, most of the time. And in that 'what if' story in one of the Budokai games, Freeza did get his wish this way.
But yeah, maybe wishful thinking. We'll see.

New page Coola transforms and Trunks doesn't look worried to me. Damn, it's still to early to tell who would win. But like I mentioned before, all bets are on Coola.

Like father, like son I guess with the whole "you're nothing without your sword!" line.

Well, with a sword of such
remarkable craftsmanship, that statement is probably quite true.

Why do I get the feeling this universe's Coola still has one more transformation left in him?

They haven't deviated anything from the story too much thus far, so I would say he doesn't have another transformation.

I like the manga but... needs more humans. Even if they all lose easily.
Don't mess with Earth!
For no reason I'd also laugh if I saw a Semi-Perfect Cell from a universe where Kuririn pushed the button but no-one trained in the RoSaT.

Agreed. This whole project is smack-dab awesome, but of course as an audience, we're always expecting just a tid-bit more. I'd love to see Tien, or Yamcha in these battles.

I think I may have said this before, but maybe a universe where we learn more about Tenshinhan's alien ancestry. Or perhaps a universe where Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin have all discovered the secrets to go Super Human.
Then I guess that would mean the half-Saiyans could go Super Saiyan and Super Human and become the most powerful beings. So perhaps Super Human should have limitations.

They already
are Super Human.

I meant a transformation equivalent to Super Saiyan...
Y'know. It's not fair the Saiyans get a transformation but the humans work hard for nothing.

Well, life ain't fair.
I don't mind if the humans just walk into a fist and crumple to the floor but if the Ginyu Special Corps can get into this tournament (even if they're faring terribly) then surely the likes of Tenshinhan after the Buu Saga can compete too.

Regular Saiyan - 1,000
Goku - 300,000
Super Saiyan - 15,000,000
Regular Human - 5
Regular Human x300 - 1,500
That x50 - 75,000
Hm... Looks equivalent to me!

What part of "Transformation" is so hard to understand?
Transformation as in, they can change their appearance or maybe just increase their power, at will. In the same manner a Saiyan
transforms into a Super Saiyan.
I'm not saying it's logical. Just something fun to make the humans somewhat relevant again. Jesus.

...Why in the world does it matter HOW they got it? After Piccolo and Kami fused, Kuririn called them a "Super Namekseijin" upon sensing that awesome Ki. That wasn't a temporary transformation.
Rocketman has a very legitimate point there.

Include ChiChi and make her the most powerful one, and we can put all this unpleasantness behind us.
