Well, It's quite a few back now, but I will post new pictures or something soon because my DB selves are in a definite need of reorganizing as I have DVD's laying all willy nilly, plus i think I got some new stuff since then.

Oh wow, I don't have nearly as much stuff as some of you, but I like to think I have a pretty sweet setup going on here:

Image
I have all 42 volumes but a couple are still at school along with Landmark and Neko Majin.

Image
my pride and joy, I have yet to find a more awesome figure than this.

I also have a bunch of games, DVDs, and even VHS but there's no way I'm organizing all of that... Oh yeah, I have that Gokuh alarm clock too but it's in my dorm. I picked a pretty bad time to try to show off.

Nice thing is though, I paid for hardly any of this.

Lots more vids of my collection up on that youtube channel soon, as well as lots of other Dragonball related videos. Enjoy!
Wow, very impressive. I've been wanting to see your collection for some time now, so thank you! Just what you've showed so far has lived up to (and surpassed) my expectations. Do you have any idea how many more parts it will take to cover your complete collection?

:!: I might actually end up needing your help someday by photographing some of those figures for a site and working on...
Hey! Thanks! I think to show the full collection I will do around 5 videos - I actualy had two others showing off a really huge chunk of it already up, but had to take them down... I plan on doing them again in the next day or so. : ).

It's possible that I am already have the images you need - I still have all the images I had for my old site, SST, so let me know what you need and I'll see if I can find it.

And HERMS! I'm so sorry that I didn't see your post in regards to my video befor this! Thanks! You might be right about that Monkey King figure - I've had arguments back and forth with several other people on that piont several times in the past... It seems like no one is sure? It is based off of an illustation by Toriyama of course... Are we sure about who he meant to be drawing in the illustation?

Mr. Announcer: I love that Goku figure you have, he's one of the ones I most want that I don't already have. For those that may have watched the video I posted - it's exactly that Goku that the Best of DBZ Goku I showed in my video is based off of.

Anyway, thanks for watching guys, more will be up very shortly : )

All the best,

Well it would only be pictures of the Japanese released figures, and I don't know how many of those you have. I'll send you a PM to let you know more.

Can't wait to see more videos!

my pride and joy, I have yet to find a more awesome figure than this.
I had that and the Vegeta one back in 1997. I sold them on Ebay when I wasn't into DragonBall anymore (98-ish). I really regret selling them though.

I hope you got a good price for them then - they go for quite a lot now.

Hope no one minds me posting more of my junk, but here is another vid of one of my rarest Dragonball items - Epoch Goku - One of the very first Goku figures ever made! Hope you enjoy:

Wow awesome Vegeta collection dude! Thats quite a lot! Are you trying to collect all the Vegeta's you can? I love seeing pics of peoples character collections. I tried to do that with Gohan figures once - I think last time I stopped and counted and took a Photo I had something like 80 Gohans:

Image

I also know someone who has over 250 Krillins figures O.O It's incredible.

Anyway, awesome collection!

All the best,
Oldphan

The drawing in question is number 111 in Daizenshuu 1, which you can see a small image of here if you scroll down. In the picture itself it is pretty clear who is Goku and who is Gohan, since everyone is in proper proportions. Comparing the picture to the figure in your video, I've actually changed my mind and think the figure is of Goku, since it has the same staff, tiger skin sash around his waist, and scarf thingy as the Goku in the illustration. I guess it's just a chibi-fied version of the Goku from the picture. Gohan himself is pretty far in the background in the picture and hard to see, but he doesn't have any staff or tiger skin.

The set actualy does include an adult Goku that looks just like that:

Image

I'm fairly certain that it is Goku, as a child Monkey King. Unless I'm totally wrong, doesn't that image of kid Goku as the Money King flash at the very end of some of the movies? Or is it some episodes? I can't remember off hand, but I know I've seen it at some point during the actual animation.

In any case, Banpresto also released another kid and adult Goku monkey king set years ago - these are around 12"'s (At least the adult Goku is.) I'm DYING to get my hands on both of these:

Image

I know that doesn't really solve the question, but I just thought people might want to see those. : )

Its kinda sad. Back in day I had a pretty nice collection. I really don't miss any of it actually, so I guess thats good. (except that 1997 Goku, but that was years before this collection).
This is a look at the same shelf some years later...

Off-topic, but who's the figure with the sickles on your present-day shelf, Tanooki Kuribo?

Awesome display Tanooki, both then and now.

What Best of DBZ figure was it that you had in that older picture? Was it Gogeta? It's hard to tell... If it is Gogeta, you wouldn't still happen to have it would you? :)

Very Nice! That's exactly how my old setup used to be like, now only the remnants remain!

Well, my new room is finally done, I should post updated pics from it. I have found a better place for everything.

Awesome Vegeta collection, Vegetababe. One question, though: what's that black and white Vegeta thing at the bottom of the second picture? It looks like some kind of CD single cover.

And yeah, such a shame to see your before and after shots of your collection, Tanook. I can see why you got rid of the singles and went for the new FUNi releases for the sake of shelf space, but did you really sell your Dragon Box the Movies? Same goes for the DB FUNi singles. Are you that sure that FUNi will re-release them or are you just gonna pick up the Madman re-releases in those fatpacks? It's always decisions decisions with DVDs... especially when it comes with the DB series :?.
